Merlin returns back to his room and sees Arthur sitting in front of the television which now has a sword stuck through it.
Merlin: Arthur I have some thing to tell yo- Taking notice of the tele. What happened?
Arthur: Seriously. Your magic box tells lies.
Merlin: sympathetically. Arthur-
Arthur: Angrily. So I'm nothing more than a bedtime story now? A-a myth?
Merlin: soothing. The world's changed Arthur. So much has happened. People forget what's real and what isn't.
Arthur: Scoffing. How did you survive this long?
Merlin: scoffing. I didn't have a clotpole king to save everyday.
Arthur: Pushing into Merlin. smiling. Idiot.
The two smile and it feels just like old times for a bit and then Merlin remembers he had something to tell Arthur.
Merlin: Remembering. Oh my god Arthur!
Arthur: Confused. What is it?
Merlin: Panicked. I heard her. I-I mean I think I did but Arthur it can't be possible I mean-
Arthur: Cutting him off. Who Merlin?
Merlin: Breathing. Morgana, Arthur. She's alive too.
Arthur: Rolling his eyes. Great! So now she can kill me herself?
Merlin: hesitating. I'm not so sure. She sounded almost terrified.
Arthur: You spoke to her?
Merlin: No no-not exactly.
Arthur: confused. Then what the hell does that mean?
Merlin: Hesitating. I can hear things?
Arthur: Disbelieving. You can, hear things?
Merlin: Look you died before I could explain.
Arthur shoots him a look.
Merlin: Too soon?
Arthur: clicking his tongue. Okay lets just assume you heard her talk. How is it possible for her to be alive? There was no prophecy about her was there?
Merlin: Sighing. No. Realizing. Unless.
Arthur: Scared. Unless?
Merlin: What ever happened to that dragon?
Arthur: What dragon?
Merlin: Morgana's dragon the one that attacked us in the caves.
Arthur: Are you saying it healed her?
Merlin: I'm saying dragon's breath is a very curious thing. It's what forged your sword. It's what forged Mordred sword that killed you. And it's what prevented Morgana from dying the first time.
