Christmas Time

You were in your room sitting in the chair next to the window. You just finished putting up the Christmas tree. This time was different. No Steve or especially no Bucky. You haven't seen Bucky in over 10 years. It was always a tradition he and Steve would come over and you guys would put up the tree,after you would play in the snow and watch Christmas movies. After you got a spot in the Avengers every thing has been difficult.

Things got boring so you dicided to look through old pictures. You go through your pictures and find all the christmas and other holiday pictures. You felt your heart sink. Maybe it was time to forget Bucky. You closed the book and layed in your bed. Tears ran down your face. "Y/N" you heard a voice say you imidatly knew it was Steve. You got up from bed. He looked at you and opened his arms. You walked to him and felt his arms around you. He always let you cry on his chest while he hugged you. "What's wrong why are you crying" Steve asked. "I miss him" you say sobbing. You get out of Steve's grip until he is no longer hugging you. "Miss who?" He asked. "I miss James" you say crying and just letting everything out. "Wait Y/N I'll be right back" he said leaving your room. You stood there waiting for Steve. Then he came in and he had JAMES! You didn't even let Steve talk. You ran to James and you both hugged. You finnaly say his beautiful eyes again.

"James I missed you so much I though something had happened to you" I said looking into his eyes. "Y/N I missed you to" he said hugging you. "Sorry to interrupt but Y/N already put the tree up with out us" Steve said. "Hey James wasn't here so it wouldn't be complete without him putting the star" you said walking up to the tree. "Y/N I go by Bucky now and you didn't have to wait all this time for me to put the star Steve told me you would put it without me" he said laughing "Well Bucky it's true but now that your here I guess it's your time to shine" you say. As Bucky puts the star you walk up to Steve and hug him. "Thanks Steve" you say. "Your welcome but I think I deserve something" he says pointing to his cheek. "You always have an excuse" you say laughing and then placing a kiss on his cheek. "Hey I deserve one to I just completed your tree" bucky says laughing. "You have worked so hard Buck" you said planting a kiss on his cheek.
