Artificial Lovers: Sequel [Xiumin X Reader]

Chapter 2: Sehun's Point of View

  After the call with my crush, (Y/N), I kinda felt like the stupidest man on Earth! I blew it! She's like the most beautiful girl in the world and I just had to act weird. What a jerk I am, right?   I put my phone next to my pillow and lied down. 

"I wonder what (Y/N's) doing now.....oh, wait! The party's tonight!" I shot up from my comfortable sleeping position and came to realize that she'd be here any minute now! When I got up, I bumped my head on the headboard of my bed. 

"Ow!" 

Then, I noticed D.O come into my room, laughing at me. I scowled at him. 

"What's so funny, D.O? Huh?"

"You! Hahaha. How'd you hit your head? You know, you were probably thinking about your crush so much, your head couldn't handle it so it smashed itself into the headboard." he joked. 

"Shut up, you prick! Why are you even in my room?" I laughed. There was no way I could get mad at one of my best buddies. We've always been close ever since EXO became a group. 

"Oh, I just came in here to remind you about the party. You should probably wear a nice tuxedo or something else decent." he informed me, while taking a seat on the edge of my bed. 

I smirked,"Oh, I already have something planned out to wear, but do you? Taeyeon's coming...your secret little girlfriend." 

His cheeks turned as red as the ripest tomatoes at the thought of his crush, Taeyeon. All of us thought that Xiumin was the one that liked Taeyeon but, it looks like it was D.O all along, haha. 

"Shut up, Sehun. I got this." 

I chuckled. "Don't make a fool of yourself, bro. I'd hate for you to pee your pants like you did last night."

He looked down at the ground, embarrassed. "Uh, um, just never speak of that again, okay? I just drunk too much water before I went to bed." He got up from my bed and looked at me, transforming his face into a smile. 

"Hey, Sehun, make sure you put on a shirt, too. You're embarrassing me and yourself with those fake abs." he teased. He turned around to leave the room. I stopped him.

"How about you stop hating and try working for these rock hard abs, boy! These took hard work and dedication." I teased him. 

He shook his head with a bright smile and continued to walk out of my room. I slumped down into my bed and put the cover over my head. I closed my eyes, thought of something nice to dream about, and drifted off to sleep. A dream about (Y/N) is never a bad one. 

*Later that Night....*

"Sehun! Sehun! Wake up and put on your clothes! (Y/N) and Xiumin are on their way." I heard Lay's voice piercing through the sheets over my head. I lifted them off me and opened my eyes. Lay was standing beside my bed and pointed to my alarm clock. It was 7:00 and the party starts at 7:30!

"Oh, crap! I must've slept for a lifetime!" I exclaimed, immediately getting up from my bed and finding my tuxedo from my closet. 

"Yeah, you did. See, the rest of EXO and I are already ready, and we tried to wake you up earlier, but you would never wake up. So, we left youf alone." 

I scanned around the small space in my walk-in closet where I usually hang my clothes, and finally found my tuxedo. While Lay was still talking to me, I immediately put on my tuxedo and black pants.

"......and if you're not ready, than  you'll miss the party. Understand?"

I didn't hear a word he said. So I just shook my head in understanding while looking into my mirror to make sure I was tying my bowtie correctly.

"Yeah, yeah. Understood. I'm already ready." I answered, slightly aggravated that he treats me like a baby just because I'm the maknae, or the youngest of the group.

"Ok. Come with us to the living room so we can wait for them to come." he commanded.

I followed his commands and left my room to go to the living room. When I got in there, I noticed everyone dressed in their nice suits and ties, looking classy. I sat down in the leather recliner that's next to the sofa near the front door.

"Hey, Sehun, you ready to see your crush?" Baekhyun teased.

I rolled my eyes and replied,"Yeah. Just don't say anything stupid, alright?"

He laughed,"Hehe, can't promise anything, but, okay then."

At that moment, we hear four knocks at the door. My muscles tensed and I started sweating, nervously, knowing I wasn't ready to see (Y/N).

"Hey, what a coincidence! Here they are!" Suho exclaimed. He got up from his seat and opened the door.

I cleared my throat, getting uncomfortable and nervous in my chair. As the door opened, the first thing I saw was the beautiful image of (Y/N) and how her pink, frilly dress shined in the light of the room.

Then I saw Xiumin, with his left hand in the company of his girlfriend's right hand. They were all smiles as they were greeted by the rest of EXO.

I was still sitting down, not knowing how to react.

After minutes and minutes of thinking of what to do, I quickly got up to greet them. When I came in contact with the couple, (Y/N) and I's eyes met! My mind went crazy!

"Warning, warning, contact with beautiful girl!" is all that I could think about at the moment.

"Hi, Sehunnie!" I heard her sweet voice exclaim in happiness.

I immediately had woken up from my brief daydream.

I answered,"Hi! Nice to see you." Urgh! My freaking voice cracked. Why did my voice have to crack?

She came to me and locked me into her warm, sweet-smelling embrace. Literally, her perfume was super sweet! It smelled like sugar cookies you'd bake on Christmas Eve.

I slowly closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment until.....she let go of me as Xiumin took her hand to sit down with the others.

I stood there, still not knowing how to react.....

The rest of them began talking among their group. I still stood there, like a confused idiot.

"Sehun, sit down. We have guests." said Kai.

"Oh, yeah, sorry, guys." I brushed it off with a smile and sat down in my recliner.

I must've picked the worst spot in the world! I chose to sit beside her and Xiumin!
