Lauren was crying mess. She wanted to stop but she just couldn't, it was stronger than her. She was stupid, why did she fall for a boy like Barry? He was the definition of fuckboy, but she had to date him for 2 years. Also, she had to find out he was cheating on her while she was on the other side of the globe through a snapchat. Just great, right?
She didn't want to tell anyone about it, all her friends would always tell her how much Barry was an ass but she just couldn't let him go, even when she left to Korea for a year.
Lauren had a soft spot, a boy named Kim Mingyu, when he wanted to know if she was okay she ended up letting him come over, she ended up crying on his shoulder for over an hour, claiming to be really dumb while he was comforting her. Lauren was thankful Mingyu was there next to her, she knew she needed someone by her side, even if she Lauren refused to admit.
"Stop saying you are stupid! He is the stupid one! Please Lauren, just stop crying, it breaks my heart to see you like this." Mingyu said for the billionth time to her, while carefully stroking her hair.
"Mingyu, be honest. What is wrong with me? I mean, am I boring? Am I ugly? What made him not want me?"
"Renren..." the nickname made Lauren smile a little bit, Mingyu was the only one who would call her that, she thought it was cute "you are amazing."
He wanted to say more. Mingyu had many things to say to the girl in front of him, but he failed. He was only flirty and blunt online, in real life he was nothing more than awkward. Nonetheless, his shyness didn't stop him for doing the one thing he shouldn't. Mingyu sweetly held Lauren's face and gave her a soft kiss on her lips.
Lauren was surprised, she adored Mingyu but she wasn't sure if it was like that.
"Mingyu, I-" she pushed him and looked right in the eyes, speechless.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that! I'm really sorry!" Just like a scared little kid, Mingyu ran, he ran out of her house, with regret filling his chest.
That only made Lauren cry more.
