Chapter 4

I decided to do Nico for this next chapter. For those who are reading hope you enjoy :)

Nico

This was the first time Nico has experienced the sensation of being electrocuted. Percy had once said that it pretty much sucks but it won't kill you unless it was strong enough. It was all Leo's fault that this happened. Nico and Jason were the last people to go into Leo's training center. When they got there, Jason bumped into Nico. Nico wasn't quite sure if he did it on purpose. Nico never knew what to think about Jason. He didn't trust him as far as he could throw him, and Nico knew that wasn't very far. But it wasn't just that Jason bumped him that made Nico mad, it was the shocking that came with it. Jason, being the son of Jupiter and all, had powers over the sky which included lightning. So occasionally when he made contact with people he would shock them. Kind of like a static shock but ten times worse. So when it happened it made Nico furious.

"Watch what you doing Sparky" Nico spat at Jason. "What are you going to do about it death boy?" Jason shot back. And with a shout, lightning struck Nico right in the chest. His mouth tasted like burnt popcorn and his shirt was peppered with tiny holes. What Nico wondered was how his powers worked in a concealed room, but more importantly will his own powers work. With a yell of his own he released his power. A rift opened up at his feet and skeletal warriors crawled out. The crazy thing was that the ship took no damage. By now the girls were trying to plead with the boys to try and make them stop but all Nico could hear was he the roaring of his blood in his ears. Nico sent the skeletal warriors at Jason. Nico really didn't expect the skeletons to do much damage to Jason. He beat them pretty easily, and right as he was about to gloat Nico charged at Jason. Jason just smiled like Nico was doing exactly what he wanted. There was that smell of ozone that comes right before the thunderstorm.

Instinctively Nico raised his sword just has the lightning hit him and he was glad he did. His stygian iron sword absorbed the lightning strike like it did with shadows and spirits. After he absorbed the lightning strike he swung at Jason. Jason parried but the force of his lightning strike came out of Nico's sword. Jason was blasted across the room. Then Nico heard Piper yell "Stop!" and for a second he actually hesitated. But that didn't last long because Jason was starting to get up and he looked pissed as hell. After that Nico didn't really know how but they fought and ended up on the top deck. Both boys were extremely mad. Nico had a cut above his eyebrow from when Jason hit him with the butt of his sword. The blood poured into Nico's right eye which made it extremely hard to see straight. Jason had a cut on his thigh which kind of made him walk with a limp. He was so mad that sparks were literally coming off of him. The sky around the ship was dark and Nico could swear that he saw a tornado in the distance. But Nico was just as mad. He was causing earthquakes that were so strong that he could feel them on the ship. Nico knew that if this fight wasn't over quickly then his friends could get really hurt.

That's when Nico saw Jason flip his magical coin and grabbed a golden javelin out of the air. Then Jason charged using his power of the wind to move quickly, but he wasn't the only one with travel powers. Nico imagined the shadow closest to him, and that was Jason's. He used his shadow travel powers to disappear right before he turned into a Nico-kebab. He popped out of the shadow right behind Jason and knocked him to the ground. Nico held his stygian iron sword just inches from Jason's throat.

That's when Nico actually heard things from his surroundings. He heard Piper yelling at him to get off Jason, but her charmspeak never really worked on him. He was never quite sure why, maybe because he was never really attracted to her. Then he heard someone sobbing. He turned and expected to see Piper on her knees pleading for him to stop, but instead he saw something that took all his anger completely away.
