There sat the willow tree
There it wished to be free

There the willow sat alone
On a deadly throne

The willow was not right
It couldn't stand up to lifes might

It sat there hour after hour
Through storms and rain showers

A bee came buzzing by one day
The willow so happy, never knew what to say

But it passed on through
Through the willows ugly morning dew

The bee passed to a forest den
And since then that's where the bee has been

The willow cried rainy tears
"Why haven't I had a friend these years."

How the willow wished for a flower
But the tree was far too sour

A bird came and perched in it's leaves
But then left with the breeze

The willow let out a soft sigh
Whilst thunder shook the sky

"Why to them am I not well?"
The willow could not tell

The willow tree wanted a friend
That's all it wanted in the end

One spring day
The sun cast it rays

A single blade of grass the ground took
Underneath the willows nook

The willow was delightened
Hoping the grass would not frighten

The best of friends they became
For both felt the same

Then one fateful day
A child took the willows grass away

The willow screamed and cried
But was silenced, from deny

It lived alone
In a silenced dome

Then the seasons changed
Here winter raged

The willow tree stopped fighting despair
It will be alone forever, since no one cared.

When the frost came over
A bird left, so did a clover

The flowers passed
Feeling winter's wrath

Despite that, they knew, they'd stay alive
Just waiting, for spring to arrive

Sadly for this willows live
Spring would never arrive

There the willow tree cried
There the willow tree died
