Mad?

Chapter 1: part 2 revealed.

As I lay on my bed I couldn't help thinking about the way Anthony's eyes pierced through me. I wanted him to tell me everything, that's how it's always been between us. For some reason he was being more cautious of what he told me. When I feel well enough, I go down the stairs to eat breakfast. My Mom is in the kitchen with Anthony's mom drinking coffee and talking in a low tone. I loiter in the door way  for a minute trying to see what they're saying when Mom spots me.
"Come in honey, I have some bad news you may want to sit down." She says
Mrs. Scott (Anthony's Mom) and my mom look each other in the eye and sigh. My mom puts her hand on my back and rubs it, "Last night, Anthony was driving his friend home from a party. He was struck an killed in a head on collision by a drunk driver." 
I look at my mom confused, " But mom I saw Anthony this morning in my room. Are you trying to trick me or something?" I say.
" Baby girl, I know it's hard but,"
" I know he isn't dead I saw him this morning mom." I'm angry that my moms pushing this.
I run up to my room to find my car keys and gym bag, but instead I find Anthony sitting on my bed.
" Hey, did you put mom up to try and scare me with a little prank because it's not going to work buddy-boy."
Anthony's eyes meet mine he motions for me to sit down next to him.
"uh... Well hazel what your mom said.... It was true... I died last night.."
" What? How are you still?..." I stammer I feel my blood run cold. He wasn't kidding me
" I don't know, I know I died because as soon as the accident happened I was outside of the car completely fine. It was only when I saw police man pull my lifeless body from the car that I knew."  Anthony's head dropped in depression.
I put my head on his shoulder to try and comfort him. He was as cold as ice.
" how come I'm the only one that can see you?" I say tearing up.
"I don't know how but I know there's a reason..."  Anthony breathes.
