It was Friday night, and Liechtenstein still didn't tell Switzerland about the picnic.
"I guess I'll have to sneak out." Liechtenstein has tried her best to obey her big brother, but today she wouldn't. She called Latvia and told him that she would go.
"I hope big bruder doesn't find out." She whispered to herself. The next day Liechtenstein got up earlier than usual. She decided to wear her white dress today. She quietly opened her door, and snuck out to the kitchen area to see if Switzerland was awake yet. Luckily he wasn't out there, so she quickly went outside.
"I better hurry before he wakes up." She ran across his yard, hoping he couldn't see her. She finally made it to the hill Latvia wanted to meet her at.
"He's not here yet.. I wonder why?" She thought. Soon she saw him running up the hill.
"I'm sorry I'm late! I had problems getting away from Russia." He was panting.
"It's okay! Shall we eat now?" Liechtenstein asked.
"Yea!" Latvia got out the basket which had a white blanket for them to sit on. Then he got out the food in the basket. There was two sandwiches, and two water bottles.
"I wasn't sure what you liked, so I brought this!" He smiled. They sat down and took a sandwich. The wind started to blow a bit.
"Liechtenstein's hair sways beautifully in the wind, even if it is short." Latvia thought. After they finished they talked a bit about each other's life.
"Russia can be really scary at times." Latvia said while shaking a bit. Liechtenstein hugged him, hoping to comfort him a bit. Latvia got up to go get something. He handed her some flowers.
"I found these. I thought you would like them because they're beautiful, just like you." He was blushing a lot.
"T-Thank you!" Liechtenstein had no idea what to do. She decided to hug him.
"I'd better get going. Russia is probably mad at me again." He quickly ran off.
"What was all this about?" She thought while holding the flowers. She soon realized that she should get home.
"I was gone to long. Switzerland won't be happy." She fastly walked back home. When she opened the door, Switzerland was standing right there with his gun on his back. He sighed.
"Where were you?"
"I was out picking flowers." She had to lie. If she told the truth, Switzerland would get overprotective.
"How many times do I have to tell you? You could get kidnapped out there alone."
" I'm sorry." Switzerland sighed again, and walked away. Liechtenstein went to find a vase, and put the flowers in it.
