I'm excited but nervous at the same time. This is my first time I will meet the guidance counselor. I hope she will not be too harsh on me. I hope.

As I stand in front of her office, my heart beats so fast. I don't want to enter... *Inhale* *exhale* but I need to do this. Whoo... Okay.

"*Knocks on door* *opens the door slowly* Good morning ma'am, you called me?" I nervously smiled at her. She looks so beautiful.

"Yes, My dear student. Please sit down" I closed the door gently and sat down on a chair in front of her.

"Ferreziah Jamiel G. Diaz, 17 years old. Hmm, you're a transferee right?" I nodded at her.

"Yes ma'am"

"I noticed that you are actively participating in class discussions and activities. Is it right?"

I smiled at her. "I don't know my actions ma'am but for me, yes I am participating in class actively."

"Hmm... I recommend you to join in our school activity."

"About what ma'am?" Okay, I'm getting nervous...

"Oh, well, it's about plants, life, you know about your life and nature...?" She laughed softly.

"I mean, what will we do in the activity?"

"Hmm... Your questions sounds good  dear. Here, I'll just give you a copy of the rules and what you will do."

"Does the activity still need to have a partner or maybe... A group?"

She smiled. "It's by pair. Boy to girl, girl to boy." What?! My partner will be a boy?!

"Well, just read the copy dear. Just come back here in my office tomorrow if you want to join"

"Okay ma'am"

"Thanks dear, that's all. You could go back to class already" I smiled at her.

"Thank you ma'am"

I stood up and went to the door and waved at her. And she smiled back. I think that's a goodbye. So, I closed the door and went back to class.
