It was a few minutes of pure silence. I could tell he was shocked but also relieved that he had someone to talk to. "When and how did you get your power...?" he asked quietly. "When i was 5, i was struck by lightning on a clear night, ever since i have been able to use these...wings," i answered. There was another few minutes of silence. "How and when did you get yours...?" i asked. "A few days ago when we all separated from the others i was struck by lightning, it was that loud crash that you heard that one night while in the forest." he said extremely quiet. Summer, the dog, was sitting up now, staring at us. I stepped away from him, looking him in the eyes the whole time. "I'm going to go get us something to eat," he said as he walked upstairs. I walked over to the dog, and just hugged it. I started to look at her and make sure she was okay, but there was one more thing. There was a cut on her ear that i could tell was hurting her. Light surrounded the room as i started using my powers. Healing was the hardest to do, so i had to use it to its full potential. Xavier walked down the stairs to see me using my powers. "I got the food," he said. "Good, im hungry," i said while walking towards him.
