Chapter 5: The chase

Jesse's POV:
I ran through the forest as fast as I could to try and get away from my friends. Or are they my friends. Well Petra was saying some really mean things to me. I start walking because my legs hurt and I think got something in my paw. I think about all of the times we had spent together.
~flashback~
"Wow I can't believe that we the building competition won the building competition" Olivia says. " I told you after all these years we would finally beat the ocelots" Jesse says. "I always knew that we would win" Axel says with joy. "Says the guy who had doubts about us not winning today"Olivia explains. -flash forward-
"Guys I did it it's gone" Jesse said. "Guy , guys I feel better" Petra shouted. "That's amazing Petra and its good to have you back"Axel says. -wine- - wine-
"Where's Reuben I say" Jesse says. " I don't know I thought he fell with you" Olivia says. Jesse look around and sees Reuben lying on the ground wining. "Reuben" Jesse shouts as she runs over to see him. The others follow after her. She looks at Reuben and he slowly lifts his head to look at her. " hey buddy your a hero you know that right" Jesse says. He looks at her very weakly. "Common buddy your my best friend I need you" she says starting to cry. He lifts his head then falls back down. Then he stops breathing and turns into a pork chop.
~flashback ends~
I try to block that memory out of my mind . I realise that it was dark and it started raining. I quickly run under a tree. I curl into a little ball and I my tail is covering my paws. I try not to fall asleep but I slowly close my eyes.
Lukas's POV:
We try to run after Jesse put she seemed to be a couple of miles ahead of us and it was dark and raining. We built a little shack to sleep in and to keep us from getting wet. "Why do you think Jesse would run away" Olivia asks. "Maybe because see thought that we would be friends with her any more because of what Petra said" Lukas says.
Petra looks at me real sad like. "I didn't mean to say that stuff I just got a little mad because she didn't tell us about it" Petra says. "It's ok Petra you didn't mean it" Axel says. "Thank you" she replied. "So what's the plan for tomorrow"Olivia asked. "I think we should wake up early to try and get catched up to Jesse" I say. "Now we should all get some rest" Olivia says.
Petra's POV:
I woke up to find that Lukas was still awake just sitting on his sleeping bag."Hey you ok Lukas you feeling ok" I ask. "Yes I'm just worried about Jesse she's out there all alone and she must be so cold and lonely"he says sadly. "Don't worry well find her she is strong and I'm sure she'll come back with us" I say to comfort him. "I hope your right" he says. "Common we need our rest if we're going to find her"I say. "Goodnight Petra"he says. "Goodnight" I say as I slowly drift off into sleep.
Jesse's POV:
I woke up to the sound of people shouting at the top of their lungs.Crap! It's them I must have over slept and now they are really close to me. I hear them come my way so I hide behind a big tree. I lower my breathing so they cant hear me. "Jesse you out here"Lukas shouts. "Maybe she is ferther up ahead"Axel says. "Lets go "Petra says. As I here them walk away the stick under my paw snapped. I here someone walk over to the tree then I hear..."Guys she's over here"Olivia screams. I look up to see her staring at me. I quickly run past the tree and past them all and I run as fast as I can.
Lukas's POV:
Wow. She is really fast I don't now how we're going to catch her. But I ralised she was running to a dead end near the mountain. We all run until we see her cornered .
Jesse's POV:
No,no,no,no! They've cornered me and there is no way to get around them. They arrive in front of me and we all stand still. "Jesse we don't want to hurt you just come with us" Lukas says quietly. I new there was only one way to pass , to FIGHT. I give them a threatening growl and they all pull out there weapons. "That's it let's fight"Petra says. She runs at me with her sword but I managed to scratch her with my claws and that slammed her against a tree. The others quickly ran to see if she was ok. I looked at me paw to see blood on it. What have I done. I use this time to run away around the bottom of the mountain.
Lukas's POV:
"Petra are you ok"I ask her hoping she will respond. "Yes it just a scratch and my armour stoped the impact when I hit the tree" she says. "That's it Jesse's gonna pay for doing this" Axel says with anger. "Wow Axel carm down the best thing to do is find her then we can sort things out" I say. He gives me a small node then we set off once again.
Jesse's POV:
There was a giant thunder storm and all of my fur was soaking wet. I reached the bottom of the mountain and I had. no other choice then to climb. The rocks were very slippery and it was hard for me to get a grip. I slipped out half way and I cut my back leg. It was bleeding freely put I had to keep going. I WAS FILLED WITH DETERMINATION!!! Suddenly my back foot got cought in some rocks and I couldn't move. Then so big rocks above me came falling down. One rock hit my head then everything went black!
