Chasing Stars ☞ Liam Payne

The laugh of an angel filled my ears. 

" That's impossible Wren." He managed to choke out over his laughter.

"Just think about it Liam." I said laughing along with him.

The laughter died down and the only sound I heard was the wind blowing and the crickets chirping. The stars were beaming down on us, bright and beautifully. The field was so peaceful and quiet on nights like these. I always come out here to think. Only Liam knows this place. It was our place, but sometimes it feels so empty. Liam rarely comes here, so tonight is special. I can feel it.

"Look how the stars shine for you." He said just above a whisper.

We were both laying down, just admiring the sky. My head dropped onto his shoulder and I whispered a quiet yeah, but the truth is they were shing out for him. Even stars liked Liam. I couldn't blame them. 

"Do you ever want to chase the stars?" I asked softly.

"What do you mean?"

"Sometimes, I just want to run. Run after the stars and see where they take me. No looking back and no regrets, just chasing the stars."

"Forever."

Forever... He said that a lot. I spent long days out here trying to deceiver want he meant by forever. Forever is a long time, so why did he say that. 

Forever.
