The Forgotten Salvatore * TVD (Completed and under major editing!)

~Chapter 1~

*READ PLEASE THANK YOU: I realize there are a lot of spelling mistakes but I wrote this a long time ago back when I couldn't spell for shit. So I'm now going through and editing each chapter fixing everything I can see and probably rewriting a lot of the story*

Elizabeth's POV:

I haven't been in Mystic Falls since 1864. A lot has changed, but I have to go back. I need to see my brothers again. Getting into my car, a 1995 impala I thought about the last time I had seen them. They were so heart broken over Kathrine. And I left them. If they're mad at me they have every right to be. I left them at their worst time without even saying goodbye.

I drove threw the town and it had seemed a lot smaller than I remembered. Maybe it was just because there were so many people now. Back then everyone knew about vampires and witches. No body wanted to live in a town like Mystic Falls.

I parked the car in front of the old Salvatore house. My home. I got out of the car, grabbed my phone, and took a deep breath staring at the house. I was so nervous I wanted to just get back in the car and head back to my old house in Vermont. But I took the long cobble stone path to the door, took another deep breath and rang the door bell.

No one answered. I looked around and rang the door bell again. I waited for a few minutes but still, no one answered. I turned around to walk away but as I did I heard a girls voice.

"Uh...hello?" She said.

I turned around quickly and saw the face of someone I never thought I'd see again. Kathrine Pierce. But there's no way it could have been her It didn't make sense. I watched her die. We all did.

"Uh...Yeah." I say braking the silence "I'm looking for Stefan and Damon Salvatore. Do I have the wrong place?"

She looked at me slightly confused "Uh. Yeah. Just hold on a second."

She shut the door and as she I heard her footsteps running up the steps. Using my vampire hearing I focused as well as I could to hear inside.

"Guy's, there's a girl out side asking about you both." I heard the girl say.

"What? A girl?" Said a voice that sounded like Damon.

"What does she look like?" So hear what I think is Stefan ask

"Long curly dark hair, short, green eyes. Ring any bells?" The girl asks

"Other than almost every other girl in Music Falls, no." Damon says

"I'll go see who it is." sighed Stefan.

I heard someone begin to walk down the stairs. I stood up straight clearing my throat and my heart thumping in my chest. I felt eyes on me and looked up to see  Damon's icy blue eyes looking down at me through a window. He stood there frozen. Just blinking. So I stared back at him giving a small smile. And then all the sudden he was gone. I looked back at the door expecting to see them any minute.

"Stefan." I hear Damon yell from inside

That's when the door swung open and I bit my bottom lip. Stefan slowly backed away a bit staring blankly at me as Damon ran around the corner freezing in his tracks.

"Elizabeth..." Said Stefan with a slight smile

"Hey guys..." I said awkwardly with a small laugh

They stared at me surprised and I stared back. Finally Stefan, moves quickly lunging himself at me wrapping me in a tight hug, one arm around my back, one hand on the back of my head.

"I missed you so much Lizzie." Said Stefan stroking my hair softly

"I missed you too." I said as Stefan stopped hugging me.

"But...I don't understand we thought you were dead. You were just gone." Said Damon obviously suspicious

"Well. The night Kathrine died was the night that I died. After everything went down something happened and I ended up dying too. I still am unsure how but I woke up in the woods, confused. I started walking home, when I got hungry. I was confused, and in so much pain. That's when I saw a man, who asked me if I need help. Insted of taking his help I... drained him of his blood. And after I saw the monster I had become, the way they treated all the other vampires I knew I couldn't come back home. A while back I heard about you guys. That you were alive...sorta. And I just couldn't find you till now." I said.

"Well I'm glad you found us. And that your here." Said Stefan smiling

"So Damon...Did you miss me or are you going to act like you don't care I'm back?" I asked grinning.

"You have no idea how much i've missed you." Said Damon grinning back at me.

He walked over to me and hugged me just as tight as Stefan had. They didn't seem mad at me. Which is what I was afraid would happen. They actually seem happy to see me. I thought for sure they would hate me. Really I never thought I would see them again, let alone see their smile, hug them and hear their voice again.

"So uh... who is she?" I hear the girl ask

Damon backed away from me turning to face the girls. I can't get over the fact that she looks exactly like Kathrine. The perfect doppelganger. She stared at Damon, then at me, then Stefan waiting for someone to answer her.

"Im Elizabeth." I say with a smile

"Elena... this is our younger sister Elizabeth." Damon said.

Elena stood confused looking from me to Damon to Stefan. It was clear she had no idea they even had a sister. But I guess, there's no reason they would have ever had to bring me up huh.
