I saw the lights

"UNCLE ROSS "Cassie yelled. Ok. I need my own place. I got dressed and walked downstairs. Cassie ran to me. "Mom yelling at Dad again"she said. I rolled my eyes.

I walked to the kitchen. I saw Charles putting his hands in the air then he ducked. Julia through a pan at him again.

"That's it. "Charles started. "I'm leaving. Helen is way nicer"he said. Julia gave him a stare. She picked up a pot and throughly it at him.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE "she yelled. "Fine. Keep the little devils and your baby brother"he said.

I picked up the lamp and through it at him. He looked at me. "Get out"I said. He walked to me and punched me.

I fell to the ground. "Now I'll leave. "He said. Then walked out. Julia ran to me." You ok"she asked. I nodded.

Cassie ran to me. "Uncle Ross you have a letter"she said. She gave me a note. I was confused.

Dear Ross (last name),
I have looked at your work history. And I liked it. So I would like to see you Friday morning at 9. If not please let me know so I can reschedule

I jump up. "I got the job "I said. Julia looked at me. I handed her the note. She smiled. Then hugged me. "Ross I'm so happy"she said.

"I am to. Let's go to the mall"I said. "Yeah. I'll get Finn. "She said. I picked Cassie up. "Hehehe"she giggles.

"Uncle Ross may have a job"I whispered. She smiled. "Yeah"she yelled. I smiled.

I was looking at the schedule. Then Adam walked to me. "So. Party Saturday "he asked. I nodded. "I hope I get to meet the boyfriend "he said.

My eyes widen. "What"I asked. "Tim said you will bring him. I'm excited "he said.

Oh Tim is so dead. "Great. I will ask him"I said. "And we will maybe have a new person added. "He said.

"Great what's his name"I asked. "Ross"he said. I remembered yesterday.

"Can I see a picture "I asked. He nodded. He ran to his office and came back with a folder.

"I said picture not stuff about him"I said." Read it. It's amazing "he said.

I looked at the picture. It was him. I started reading the writing. My eyes widen.

"Says here lived here until Senior year"I said. He nodded. "Has a sister. She married with two kids"he said. I smiled.

"Then moved back last year. Wow he put a lot of stuff"I said. Adam nodded. "He's perfect "he said.

"Yeah. He is. Well I'm going to lunch. I'm gonna meet someone again"I said.

"Oh the boyfriend "he asked. "Maybe"I said.

I got my food and walked to a table. I saw Max walking to me. "Hey"I said. He nodded he sat down. "Wow this place got busy"he said.

"'Tis the season"I said. He smiled. "So more about you"I said. "Nothing more really. I'm single. And I need to find a pretend boyfriend so my mom doesn't think I'm a loner "he said.

"Wow. How did you get into that"I asked. "Two months ago I wanted to get out of dinner so I said I'm going out. And she thought I had a boyfriend and if I said no she would've started crying "he said.

I smiled. "Good luck with that"I said. "Actually I wanted to talk to you. About something "he said. I looked up.

"I barley know you"I said. "This will get us closer. Since you will be working with me"He said. "Wait"I froze. "No"I added.

"Nice picture you sent"he said. I looked down. "My mom took that when I was in New York"I said. "What do you say"he asked.

"Max. I think you are a real nice guy. But I can't. My sister will find out about you. And it won't be good"I said.

"Are you good at acting "he asked. I nodded. "Good. "He said.

I looked at my food. "How about we talk more over dinner"he asked. I looked up. "Sure. Where"I asked.

"Um. I don't know. I'll figure it out. Just tell me your address and I'll pick you up"he said. I nodded.

"How about Olive Garden "I asked. He nodded. "Sure. See ya then"he said. I nodded.
