Faith and Nico hit it off easily, and Nico was allowed outside of his Pokeball to walk alongside his trainer as time went on. They were only on the first route, when Faith felt a friendly aura nearby.
A small creature with brown fur and a yellow stripe down the middle of its body lunged at her, engaging in a fight. It seemed innocent and cute at first, until she heard Nico's yelp. As Faith's eyes made their way to the face of the Pokemon, it had a gigantic maw full of sharp teeth. But it seemed to be enjoying itself, and it's aura expressed playfulness and not malice.
They battled playfully, and soon enough the little monster was tuckered from fighting. Nico boasted happily, ignoring the grin on Faith's face. She offered the little beast a PokeBean, and it became exstatic. "Hey little girl, wanna join our team?" She offered, holding out a Pokeball. It squeled in joy, and touched the button.
And so, Sunny the 'Yungoos' joined Faith's team as the first permanant member.
