Tonight on 60 minutes: the story of Y/N Y/L/N.

Y/N was only 12 years old when her best friend, Alexis Garcia, recorded her singing  Celine Dion's, 'My Heart Will Go On', when she thought she was alone in the schools auditorium. That night the video had over a million views, people were shocked that the singer had such a mature and powerful voice at such a young age many didn't believe she was only 12. Simon Cowell had watched the video of the young sensation and saw huge potential and had managed to beat the many other record labels that also wanted Y/L/N and in a week Y/N had signed the contract to SyCo Entertainment.

In 2008 Y/L/N had beaten LeAnn Rimes as the youngest person to win a Grammy, Rimes was 14 at the time she got hers and Y/N only 13. Y/N won Album of the Year and Best New Artist Grammy. Her album, Fall for You, includes Love Song, Take A Bow, that she had written and preformed with Rihanna herself, Viva La Vida, I'm Yours, Stop and Stare, Hey There Delilah, Shadow of the Day, Fall for You, and I'm in Love With a Girl.

Y/N was very open about her interest in girls especially after her album was released and fans had saw that most of the songs were about girls. As expected, she received hate for it but the singer's comeback brought all the haters to silence for a while, showing them she doesn't care about what they think.

Cut to clip of Interview:

"So recently your album came out and essentially so did you" Y/N smiles and nods.

"Yes that is correct" The interviewer smiles at her response and continues.

"So that also means you have been getting hate as well," Y/N laughs a little and says yeah. "What would you say to those who think your sexuality is wrong?"

"Well, first of all everyone has a right to an opinion and if they wish to share their opinion at times even if it is cruel but that doesn't mean you should. I don't blame them for hating homosexuality because that's how they were raised to think but I believe they can over come it when they realize that same sex couples are just as normal as hetero couples are. At the end of the day love is love and all that matters is my happiness and the only people that will effect that are my family and close friends. So you can keep writing hate filled comments, I'll just ignore them because even though you have a right to an opinion doesn't mean it's important or worth my time."

End of clip

In 2009 Y/N released a song she wrote and dedicated to all her haters, Gives you Hell before launching her second album, Use Somebody. Her album included the hits, If I Ain't Got You, Whatcha Say, Halo, Battlefield, and more.

2010 Y/L/N had decided to take a break from the music business when she was asked to play a part in a movie and to make a few guest appearances on the show Victorious and a few other shows like Glee. The singer was quick to make friends with the whole cast of Victorious, she was especially close to Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies. Even though she was on a break that didn't stop Y/N from agreeing to sing with the rapper B.o.B. in his new song Airplanes.

2011 the singer/actress confirmed she was in a 4 month relationship with Victoria Justice while in an interview for the new movie she was just in, Super 8. She had also confirmed she would be going back into the studio to work on her third album while also releasing her new single, Grenade. It was clear that the 16 year old would only go farther in her career from here.

What wasn't clear was that the 16 turned 17 year old would get into a car accident and then shot 3 times only 5 days after her birthday. January 3rd 2012 Y/N left SyCo at what sources say 11 p.m. after a long night recording songs. The 17 year old got in the car with her driver of 4 years, Anthony (Tony) Romano, driving her home. When they had gotten halfway to the Y/L/N house a car had rammed into their car sending it spinning out of control and hit a tree. Medical records show that the singer had walked away with only a fractured arm. Evidence shows that Y/N had gotten out of the car herself before the driver of the car that caused the accident had shot her once in the leg when she had started to run away most likely when she saw the gun.
