HENRY'S POV

It's been three days since I woke up cold in the forest of Grimm and let me say life in the castle has been hectic. The moment I told King Jacob what had happened, he had sent out witch hunters to find her but came up with nothing. The only option we had was to wait and see what becomes of Prince Jonah.

As time progress, there was an overwhelming sense of loneliness and emptiness settling into my heart. Also, it doesn't help that my job was only to serve Prince Jonah, meaning had nothing much to do in the castle. No one needed me here, that made my heart sink. My missing prince has me drowning in so many emotions I never thought I would have to feel again.

Prince, please beat the game and come back to me. I don't think I can take much longer of this. Not being able to feel your presence, you charming aura, to see my best friend is slowly killing me. Even the people around me have said how sick depressing I look from time to time.

Please, I wish Prince Jonah will beat this game quick.

JONAH'S POV

I watched closely from behind the reeds of the pond as a beautiful girl plays with a golden ball near a well. For the past three days, she comes every afternoon to play with it. She bounces it against the ground and throws it up into the air. Sometimes she's able to catch, other times not. Today, she wasn't able to catch it and the golden ball. Her gaze followed it with sadness as she realized the ball fell into the deep well.

Her eyes swelled with tears, "That was my favorite plaything my father has given me." She cried aloud.

This is King Wilhelm's daughter, I knew it. Only royal families are able to obtain golden balls. She continued to cry, and by then I knew what I must do.

"What's wrong, princess?" I asked as I jump out of the water and move towards her.

"Hm? Who's there?" She looks around to see no one.

"I did, your highness," I replied respectfully and stood on my back legs to bow before her.

"A frog?" She gasps, "I am crying because I lost my golden ball in the well."

"Don't cry anymore, I can help you but I need something in return if I retrieve your ball."

"Whatever you want, little frog. I'll give you my jewelry if that's what it is."

"No, I don't care for jewelry, but if you will love me, let me be your friend, and share your things with me, if you can promise me this I will go down the well and bring back your ball."

"Yes, I promise I will." She replied without hesitation and so I jumped into the well to retrieve the golden ball.

When I jumped back out and handed her the ball, she ran away with it.

"Princess! Take me with you, I can't run as fast as you!" I croaked and went after her, but she was long gone.
