Trey's P.O.V (finally, ikr) ~Le time skip to next morning, 10:00 am

I woke up to the sun shining directly in my eyes, and I squinted. What's up with all the light these days? And I noticed the nurse was also in my face. "Hello Trey! How are you today?" She said cheerfully. The nurse was short with short red hair, and she had glasses on and green eyes. I just shrugged, "Still sore, my stomach hurts," I held my arm protectively close to the deep gash on my stomach. "Okay, I'll get you some pain medication. Are you hungry at all?" I nodded and she she left.

Bored bored bored bored bored. Oh right! My dad had brought my for me when he first came. My dad needed to go to work today and I told him I'd be alright here. The phone was on the small couch at the other side of the room so I decided, what the heck, just go get it. I grunted as I slowly swung my legs over the side of the bed, and my feet touched the cold floor. Weak from the blood loss, I used the wall to hold myself up as I slowly made my way across the room. I was almost there, when from some reason I stumbled and fell, and I clutched my stomach in pain, a grimacing expression on my face, I struggled to get up, snatched up my phone when the nurse came back in. "Trey! What are you doing out of bed!" She gasped and set down the tray of food and medication on a small table next to the bed. She hurried over to me and held my arm, guiding me back to the bed. Geez, I'm not a child! I pulled my arm away and sat on the bed. "Thanks for the food." I mumbled. I hate looking weak in front of people, especially girls. She nodded, "May I check your stitches? They may have come out. The wound is far from healing." I nodded and she came over, and I lifted my shirt just above the gash. For some reason she blushed and unwrapped the gauze and poked at the wound. I grimaced, at the pain and she pulled back. "Did I hurt you?" "Oh, uh no." I can't let anyone see I'm in pain. She did what nurses do to check wounds and she wrapped it up in new gauze. "Well, luckily the stitches are still intact and the wound doesn't look infected. Enjoy the food, and just push the button if you need anything." I nodded and she left.

"Well, I guess I can wait to text Allie, I'm starving." I chowed down on the pancakes and eggs, and drank the whole glass of orange juice. I was hungry for more, but I didn't want to bother anyone. I'll text Allie now, I thought. But then I heard voices from behind the door, "No, I'm sorry miss, but visiting hours don't start until another hour," I heard a huff "I can see him when I want! He's my closest friend!" Allie? "Uh, hey nurse? She can come in, it's fine with me," I called. And the door swung open and a triumphant looking Allie strode in with an irritated nurse walking in behind. "Alright, but I won't give any exceptions next time, alright?" We both nodded and Allie sat on the edge of my bed, smiling. She held up a brown paper bag, and gave it to me. "Look inside!" She said excitedly My eyes widened "Pumpkin chhesecake! My favorite, how did you know?" "Oh, you know, I'm a creepy stalker who looks through all your stuff and I knew you liked cheesecake." She nearly burst out laughing at my confused yet convinced expression. "No silly! I just asked your dad so I could bring you a special treat," I was so happy, she cared about me enough to bring me treats, and persist on getting into my room to see me. I hugged her, she was shocked at first but hugged back.

Allie looked around the room and found a small paper plate for the slice of cheesecake, and a fork was already in the bag. I wanted to savor every bite, but I was too hungry even after the pancakes and eggs. What can I say, I'm a growing boy, -ahem- I mean man. Anyway, the cheesecake was gone in a matter of minutes the dessert was gone, and I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. "Thanks Allie, that was amazing," I couldn't stop smiling, and after that we talked and talked for hour and hours until the nurse came in and I noticed it was 5:00 pm. Wow, we've been talking that long? "Hello miss, I'm afraid visiting hours are over, I am going to have to ask you to leave so Trey can rest." Allie looked very reluctant to go, but she got up and waved goodbye. "Don't worry! I'll come see you tomorrow!" She said cheerfully before being escorted by the nurse.

Le time skip~ nighttime or something, I'm too lazy to come up with a time exactly.

I layed down, and tried to get some sleep, but when it finally did come, it was in little flashes and I saw what I remembered from the car crash. Lots of glass, I couldn't breath, move, do anything to prevent it. I could feel the glass ripping my skin, causing the huge gash, and it repeated over and over, until I screamed, sitting up from the traumatizing nightmare. I was sweating and gasping for air. A doctor rushed in, turning on the light. "Sir? Are you alright?" I was clutching the sheets shaking madly, "The-the car.. glass..pain.. can't breath.." He came over to me and rubbed my back. It's alright, Trey, it was a nightmare." I looked up, terror in my eyes. "Now how about you try to get back to sleep?" He said as he gently layed my head back on the pillow. "Y-yeah." I stammered. About fifteen minutes after the doctor left I finally fell into a deep dreamless sleep.
