The five people you meet in Heaven

The two traits I choose to do for Eddie are Forgiveness and kindness. These two traits are shown once or maybe a few times in the book but he does show more great traits in this book.

The first trait is forgiveness, in the book Eddie was forgiven and had given forgiveness. He was angry at his father after years of being yelled at, pushed around, and abused. When Eddie was visiting his third person Ruby he found out what really happened when his father died. He saw that his father saved one of his friends from drowning. After a while Eddie know knowing why, forgave his father for what he had done. Another example is when his commanding officer shot him in the leg because Eddie was talking to an 'imaginary' person that went into the burning barn. Eddie was mad at first then he realized that if he had stayed there him and his team would also die due to the war.

The traits forgiveness and kindness are alike and different at the same time. Some times when one is forgiven it is a sign of kindness while others it's just they don't want to deal with the one whom have sinned them. Forgiveness is a form of kindness in my opinion.

The second trait is kindness. Eddie has shown much kindness in his years. For example, when his father died and his mother was in denial Eddie and his wife margurite moved in to the house he was raised in to take care of his mother. Another example is when he was working at Ruby pier he was extremely kind to the children, he even made them pipe cleaner animals.

These two traits are important because they show who Eddie is. The forgiving son who learned how loyal his father was and the kind son, husband, and Peir worker that always took care of people.
