She was the one that sat in the corner,

The one you said loved to lie,

But did you know her story?

Did you know the truth?

Did you know she was struggling with more than you?

No you didn't, so you picked on her for her flaws.

You made her put on a hoodie and shade herself from you even more.

She hid them with paint, 

She hid them with marker,

The kept all her secrets in her mind,

A place no one else could go.

It was the only place she could be herself,

the only place she called home.
