I followed Nishinoya around for the rest of our lunch break. He showed me the gym where practices were held, where the nets were, how we warmed up, and where I would sit. I nodded and carefully imbedded all of this information in my mind. Once we were finished with my 'tour', I thanked Nishinoya.
"Thank you so much, Nishinoya!" He blushed and grinned widely. "Anything for you, Y/N-chan!" As we began to walk back to the main building, Nishinoya asked me some questions.
"So, Y/N, where do you live now?" He asked.
"Oh, I live on Kagerou Avenue. I live by myself." Nishinoya's eyes widened.
"What?! That's far away from Karasuno in terms of walking! Did you really walk from there to Karasuno?!" I laughed.
"Actually, my friend's mom drove me to school today. Starting tomorrow, I'll have to walk." Nishinoya frowned.
"I live on Aincrad Street. I could carpool with you up if you'd like." My eyes lit up like stars.
"Thanks Nishinoya-kun! You're the best!" I gave him a hug. He blushed madly and awkwardly hugged me back. Then, the bell rang, and we both sprinted to our classes. (haha moment ruined)
Time Skip (brought to you by a lazy writer)
I nervously walked to the gym, the sound of volleyballs hitting the floor getting louder. School was over, and after Kenma picked me up(yeah Kenma's picking you up every day btw, from school and then volleyball practice), I returned to Karasuno High School while he went to play games in his room. I had told him all about my day, and he smirked (yes, he smirked) when I told him about managing the boys volleyball team.
"Your first day, and your managing a sports team. I guess I didn't have to be worried after all." I remembered his comment, and I smiled without thinking. Then, I took a deep breath and walked into the gym. Everybody turned to look at me. I blushed, and bowed.
"H-hello everybody. My name is Y/N, and I'll be one of your managers starting today." Kiyoko smiled and walked over to me.
"We were waiting for you, Y/N! Okay everyone, let's all drop the volleyballs and come meet your new manager." Nishinoya ran up to me and gave me a hug. I hugged him back, while everybody else gasped.
"I showed Y/N-chan around! She's super nice, and super pretty!" A guy with practically no hair ran up to Nishinoya and me.
"Oh, Noya-san! You're right, she is really pretty!" He turned to me and grinned. "My name is Ryunosuke Tanaka, wing spiker! Nice to meet you!" He said, blushing. I smiled and held up a peace sign.
"Yeah, It's an honor to meet you!" I told him. He promptly fell on the floor. Kiyko laughed.
"I think that he fainted due to your beauty." She explained. I blushed. Suddenly, a short little dude with orange hair ran up to me and bowed.
"I am Shoyo Hinata, middle blocker! I may be little, but I can jump high! Nice to meet you!" I grinned.
"Nice to meet you, Hinata!" After meeting Hinata, I met the other first years. I met Tobio Kageyama, the super setter, Tsukishima Kei, the sassy middle blocker, and Yamaguchi Tadashi, Tsukishima's best friend.
I knew that it was going to be a fun year after I met them. Next, I met the other second years. They were all bench players, but were kind and polite. After that, I met the third years. Sawamura Daichi, the captain, Sugawara Koshi, the refreshing setter, and Azumane Asahi, the ace of Karasuno. I knew that they'd keep the first years from doing anything rash, so I instantly felt better after meeting them.
Finally, I met the coach, Ukai, and the advisor. After the introductions, we began practice.
Thirty minutes in, I had noticed five things about Karasuno.
1) Tsukishima was a smartass.
2) Nishinoya was an AMAZING libero.
3) All of the third years had mastered their positions.
4) Tanaka was a very robust yet great spiker.
5) Kageyama and Hinata's freak quick was AWESOME!!!
"What the heck?!" I yelled for the fifth time. "Kageyama has to be the best setter in Japan! And Hinata is so freaking fast! Unbelievable!" Kageyama and Hinata both blushed, embarrassed. Tsukishima snickered.
"What's unbelievable is how you never get tired of seeing their quick." He told me, smirking.
"What's ALSO unbelievable is how rude you are." Tsukishima made a 'tch' sound, and stomped off.
After practice, I ran outside to Kenma's waiting car. After such a great practice, I was a lot more cheerful than I usually was. "Bye guys! It was fun meeting all of you! Even you, Tsukishima! BYE!!!" As I got into Kenmas moms car, the Karasuno volleyball club all shook their heads in disbelief.
"I bet she farts glitter."-Tsukishima
"She's so fun!"-Hinata.
"She's perfect in every way..."-Nishinoya
"She's so pretty!"-Tanaka
"At least she's more tolerable than you four."-Kageyama
"True, true..."-the rest of the team not including Daichi
"WE ARE A TEAM! BE NICE!"-Daichi
Meanwhile, I was in the car, thanking Kenma's mom. "Thank you so much for picking me up, Mrs.Kozume! You're the nicest person I've ever met." Mrs.Kozume smiled.
"It's the least I can do for Kenma's new friend." She told me. "Have you found someone to take you to school, Y/N?"
I nodded. "Yeah, this guy named Nishinoya Yu. He's great! So is the rest of the team." Kenma's mom smiled.
"That's great, Y/N-chan!" I smiled. I noticed Kenma's eyes darken, but ignored it.
"Thank you!" As I leaned my head against the window, I smiled and closed my eyes. Maybe moving to Japan wouldn't be so bad after all.
