Harry: "Be careful now angel. Don't prick yourself." Harry squatted next to his daughter, helping her to place the ball on the tree, her ornaments scattered all along the bottom as you worked on filling the top. You didn't notice her face as you topped the tree with the figure of an angel, her words a whisper in his dad's ear. He chuckled, taking her small hand to work on a separate project for the two of them. While you made your way to the kitchen, preparing dinner for the night you found your little girl and Harry, both of them cross-legged on the floor as they removed the angel. "She didn't understand why she couldn't be on top of the tree since she's my angel." Harry's grin seemed to stretch from ear to ear, letting her place the new angel on the top of the tree, a picture of your daughter's face glued onto the figurine, topping your tree with herself.

Louis: Louis was all about fun when it came to the first time your young daughter would help with decorating your tree. He'd taken her with you shopping, letting her pick out all the ornaments and decorations she wanted, bounding down the aisles of the store and coming back with arms filled with items. By the time the tree was finished, there seemed to be more ornaments that actual tree, standing back as Louis pulled out her favorite and the last thing you would put on the tree. "Tinsel!" She squealed, a new word he'd taught her as you all pranced around the tree, tossing the sparkling string here and there, your tree the most spirited you'd ever seen.

Niall: You'd always been particular about the way your tree was decorated, choosing to do it all on your own while your son and Niall slept together on the couch. This year seemed to be a different story as you pulled out your boxes, ready for a hard night's work. "(Y/S/N) and I want to help this year." Niall smiled as he carried your son over to where you stood, seeing the reluctant look on your face. "It'll be good babe. Just let go of some of that control for a bit." Niall laughed, giving your nose a squeeze. You worked with them all night, wanting so bad to move ornaments around to areas where the tree looked empty, wanting to place things in the correct areas but when you stood back and looked at your tree, Niall and your boy both sucking at the ends of two candy canes they'd found, red-lipped and happier than ever, you'd never seen a tree so perfect as the one you'd decorated with your two guys.

Liam: Liam hung the last of the ornaments on the tree, stepping back to take a look at your masterpiece. "I think there's something missing here." He pondered, rubbing his chin between his thumb and forefinger. He felt a small pull against his pant leg, turning to see your daughter holding the star that would top the tree, peering up at her father through big brown eyes. "Can I put it on?" Her voice was soft, giggling a little as he tickled at her sides, lifting her onto his shoulders so that she would reach the top of the tree, perfecting it with the final decoration on her first time helping with putting it up.

Zayn: You and your little guy had been decorating the tree all day, filling it with ornaments in shapes of snowflakes. You'd been digging in boxes, hanging bunches and bunches of ornaments. Your brow furrowed as your son was no longer at your feet, placing ornaments at the bottom of the tree, Zayn reaching beside you to the very top to hand his. Your head turned around, finding your two boys on the floor, laughing as sound effects left their mouths, having stumbled upon a set of superhero ornaments you'd bought, choosing to play with the figures for a while before placing them on the tree.
