Harry’s POV

I ushered Liz into the bowling alley. She walked a foot in front of me holding her sides as if she were cold. My hands were in pockets as we approached the counter. “Two shoes please. Ten for me and…”

“Eight please,” she glanced up at the man quick before returning her stare to the floor. The man turned around grabbing the shoes and sat them on the desk.

“Lane eleven and how many games are you playing?” I looked over to Liz but she said nothing.

“Three for now,” I paid and grabbed both pairs of shoes leading Liz to lane eleven. She sat at the table putting on her shoes as I put on mine. We both went and grabbed some bowling balls, hers was a flashy pink and mine was just black. “Do you want something to drink?” I offered.

“I can get it myself,” she stood going to the concession stand with me. “Pepsi please,” she was a foot shorter than me and the stand came up to about her breasts.

“Make that two large Pepsi’s please,” the girl nodded getting the drinks. “Having fun yet?”

“Not the word I would use,” her voice had a sharp tone to it.

“Ten ten please,” the girl put on a smile directing every word towards me. “And if you don’t mind may I get your autograph?” I smiled back at her as I handed her the cash and she handed me a pad and pen.

“What’s your name love?”

“Charlie,” I could hear the excitement in her voice.

“I like that name it’s different for a girl to be named Charlie,” I put on the charm. This girl must have been shorter then Liz by a few inches. She had short chopped blonde hair, brown eyes and a smile that reached her ears. “There you go,” I handed her back the pad and pen.

“Thank you Harry,” I grabbed the drinks as Liz and I headed back towards the table. I sat them on the table as I wrote in our names on the monitor.

“Do you want to go first?” There was a few people scattered around us but mostly we were by ourselves.

“Can’t I just go? Why are you doing this Harry?”

“We don’t spend enough time together and we should we live together.”

“The only reason I still live with you is because I’m not eighteen yet. Trust me this is never what I would be doing on my free time and I would not be living with you if I had a choice.” She turned away from me crossing her arms.

“So, me first then,” I laughed. I know it wasn’t an appropriate response but there was nothing either of us could really do about it. I picked up the bowling ball flinging it down the lane. “You’re out of the house you should at least enjoy this time.” She stood as I took another shot and picked up her own ball. Liz rolled her ball down the lane getting a strike. “Nice shot,” I smiled at her rubbing her back quickly.

“Liz! Liz!” I turned around to see a guy coming towards us. He had black hair with blonde highlights that he had swooped back with brown eyes and high cheekbones. How in the hell did she know a dick like this guy.

“Sam!” she went straight into his arms hugging him. My jaw tightened as I stood there starring him up and down.

“Is this the guy?” he let her go stepping towards me pointing at me. Liz nodded looking down at the floor once again. “Can I talk to you for minute man?”

“Maybe after this game,” I smiled.

“How about we go outside now and talk like real men. You do know what is it like to be a real man don’t you?” I could feel the anger pulsing through me. I put on a thin devilish smile.
