A girl sat on the last step on a stairway, holding onto her knees, crying. She had been sobbing for while, in the beginning she knew what the reason was, but all the memories, good and bad, came rushing back, every single one, and she lost count of all the reasons she had going through her mind.
Hours past, she slowly made her way to her room, she didn't want her parents to see her, she didn't want anyone to see her. She was a wreck, and as she sat on the floor of her room, she remembered every time he had spoken those sweet nothings into her ear, she knew them all by heart.
"I'll always love you. Your my one and only. Your the only one that matters."
Though she had heard all these words, and more, she couldn't seem to remember any promises that had been left unbroken. Through all the promises she had kept, she couldn't remember any of his.
After an hour had come and gone, she got up, dried her eyes, and went to the kitchen. She couldn't see herself sitting there, crying over a guy that wouldn't cry over her. She grabbed a pizza from the freezer and preheated the oven. She made her way to the living room and grabbed a book from the bookshelf. Soon after she sat down and opened her book, the oven beeped, telling her that the pizza could go in.
She put the pizza in and sat down. She read from her book till the oven beeped again telling her she could take the pizza out. She got up, only to hear her phone ring. She picked it up and put it on speaker, while grabbing the oven mitts and pulling out the pizza.
"Are you okay?"

She hung up the phone, unable to say enough words that could say what she felt, unable to say enough to tell of the pain she was in.

Unable to tell her of the things of her father had done.
