The truck pulled off the side of the road. Aaron and I both got out while Mason stayed in the car. "Out of all the place we could go we come here?" He asks getting out of the car as well. "Just wait you'll see." Aaron had already headed into the woods.

I started to fallow but realized Mason want behind me. "You coming?" I ask turning to face him. Mason had a weary look on his face. "I don't know. Is this the part were you kill me?" He asks. I couldn't help but laugh. "No were not going to kill you."

He shakes his head. "Well obviously you wouldn't you seem to nice, but Aaron is a different story." He almost have known about all the fights Aaron gets in. "Don't worry I will not let Aaron touch you." I say with a laugh. Mason seemed to give in as he walks closer to the forest edge.

I turn on my foot and head deeper into the woods. The leaves crunching under are feet. "So what is out here beside wild animal?" Mason asks the deeper we go. I shake my head, "I'm not telling it would ruin the surprise." I could hear Mason groan.

The rest of the walk was silent. We had finally caught up to Aaron after a few minutes. He seemed to be happy to be back. "Were here." Aaron calls as he steps into the clearing me right on his tail and Mason a few step behind me.

I stare at our old hang out. All the good memories coming back. "Wow." Mason said staring at the abandoned amusement park in the clearing. For being abandoned it was in pretty good shape. "Ya it's cool isn't it." Aaron says walking over to one of the game booths. He pulls on the lever and the place lights up. "It's better at night." I tell Mason.

"So what do you normally do here?" Mason asks. "Well over there is a fresh stack of beer and the driver doesn't drink but the others normally do and we play truth or dare. But um.. there a tradition that most be upheld before you can join in." Mason looked scared.

"What's the tradition?" He asks in all seriousness. He was looking at me. "Every new comer has to climb to the top of the ferries wheel." He shook his head. "What no way. Do you two realize how dangerous that is." We both shake our heads.

"It's not that bad," Aaron says, "I mean we both did it and turned out fine." Mason sighs. "Alright so how do I get to the top?" Aaron chuckles. "You have to figure that out on your own. Oh and get used to climbing that often come up in truth or dare." Aaron says as an afterthought. Mason looks over to me for help but there was nothing I could do. It's just how it worked. If he wanted to come then this is how he can stay.
