BEEP BEEP BEEP Bright and early my alarm clock starts going off around 6 am . It's kind of early but I'm supposed to be meeting Samadhi G at the record company's headquarters at 9 so I had and set my alarm clock early so that I could make sure I look flawless. No sooner than my feet hit the floor my phone started to ring " Hello"I said hesitantly " Yes I'm Brittany Hall manager to Samadhi calling for Mckinze Jones " said the women "This is she how can I help you because I thought the interview is not scheduled till 9" I said nervous. I couldn't start this job out on the wrong foot already. New York is expensive and I like nice things so I have to have a job and this one paid very well. "No ma'am, I was calling because we are going to have to change the place and time of the interview. Samadhi and Drake have completely enclosed themselves in the studio working on shamadi's album and hun when these artists get into the studio and get into their music they lose all focuse on the outside world. Samadhi didn't want to stand you up because he knows he'll be the first artist you are writing about since your new to the magazine. Now I didn't know if you have a car but because Drakes home is on the outskirts of the city we would be more than happy to send a driver." She said in all of one breath. My morning brain was still trying to comprehend that there was a change in the time and place. " Oooh ok uhm no that should be fine give me a min to get something to write the address down" I stood up trying to run to my office space and get paper. "No need hun I already emailed it to you, I was just following up with a call because I knew your new to the city and just wanted to make sure you would be fine with the change. Ok then were settled and I'll see you at 11am the door should be unlocked and just follow the music." She said sweetly before saying bye a hanging up.
I checked my email and sure enough she had sent the address and instructions. Not being sleepy anymore I just decided to go ahead and get up and still get ready. I could get breakfast and take my time getting there since I would already be relying on GPS.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Getting out of the shower I lotioned up before going to stand unfront of my closet. I wanted something cute, stylish, and sexy but at the same time not to crazy and unprofessional. First impressions are everything and I wanted to make a good one. Finally I picked a cute sweater dress with some over the knee boots, I decided to carry a backpack purse that way I will something to hold my recorder and note books. I kept it simple with the hair and makeup because this was work after all.

After a couple of sprays of my favorite perfume Prada candy I was heading out the door. In a way I was more excited about driving my baby than my first day of work. By me staying in the city I wasn't able to get pink d out much. That's Pink Dragon my beautiful jeep that's to big for the city. Parking and traffic just was not ment for my truck but I refused to sell her.
