I was a little hesitant about going to church today. Last Sunday, the pastor said that we were going to have an Evangelist come. This could be of great good or great bad to me. You're probably thinking, "A christian that does all of this? No way......." I may have not been on the "christian" level but I did believe in Him.
The pastor began with saying, "Ok, everyone, bow your heads in prayer." We did. Few minutes later, "Ok, like last Sunday, as promised, we have an Evangelist, Hansel Reddings, here to gives us the word and prayer. Everyone clapped. "It feels a little hot in here...." he said. "Hey Becky, can you turn the air up?" The pastor asked. She said yes. I think that was referring to me. I took that of offense. "Ok, God is good." He preached. Everyone went "AMEN!" "He is there for us when we are at our best and at our worst." "AMEN!" The conjugation clapped.
Later throughout the service, he called us up for evangelism. The first boy he did, he prophecised, "I see good things for you. Continue to follow the Lord and I see you being a huge basketball player." "How'd you know! Thanks and I will." The line was pretty long.
He finally got to me and he stared me down. "What?" His eyes got weird and he started to have a look of fear. "Reddings?" The pastor asked. He started to back up slowly. "What is going on??" I looked around and everybody looked at him, then at me, then back to him. "Y-Yo-You............" I'm not gonna lie, I felt.....embarrassed. "I have to go!" He grabbed his coat and bible and sped-walked out of there. Everybody's eyes were feasted on me. "Okaaaaaay...sorry pastor but I'm leaving."
I walked through the door and went outside and saw the Evangelist. "Ok...this is akward..." "Stay away from me demon!" "What are you even talking about?" "I saw, saw your whole life! Dear lord please!" I walked closer. "What are you talking about?" He started backing up towards the street. "Are you gonna answer me?" "STAY AWAAY!" He started praying in deep tongue. "No, tell me, what?!" "Oh Lord please....please.!" He started crying and everything. "BEGONE DEMON!" He took steps closer to the road. I saw from the distance a speeding car. "Hey Man, look, I didn't do anything to you but you need to get away from the road." He kept praying and walking back faster. "Hey, HEY! HEY!!!" I ran after him and he turned around and ran and BAAAM!, he got hit. "Oh my.....!" I ran back into the church to get help and the ambulance came and took him to the hospital.
