CHAPTER II

(the next morning Paul is still puzzled with what Pamela said)

Paul: ("imposible ata yang sinasabi mo") what did she mean by that?

Toya: "Ano ba naman to? Tama naman ang connection diba, bakit hindi gumagana?"

Gabby: "Hindi ko ma-gets. If only Pres was here."

Paul: "Makinig kayo." (everyone stopped)

Everyone: "ANONG SABI MO?!" (pissed) (turns to face Paul) (clatter) (clatter) huh? (surprised)

Paul: "Bago nyo sabihing imposible." (carrying a car seat and door) "How about doing what you can?"

Everyone: (worn out) "uhm!"

(after everything was assembled)

Toya: "WOW! Doesn't it kind of look like it can run now? Pwede nang pang gala!"

Gabby: "Stupid! Yung body pa lang ang tapos. It looks nice though.. pero paano niya kaya nakayanang buhatin lahat nung mabibigat na parts nang ganun ka dali? Amazing!" (turns to look at Paul working at the back) "What kind of body does he have?"

Kevin: "Paul, he's pretty skilled. Ang galing niya pala ano?"

Mark: "Now we just wait for the engine Pres made."

Paul: (stands up from what he's doing) "where's Pamela?"

Toya: "hmmm? She's working on the engine alone, in the work room of the second school building."

Paul: "Bakit siya lang mag-isa? Is it alright to do that?"

Toya: "Okay lang yun. Ano ka ba.. She's competing with us to make a stronger machine."

Paul: (surprised) "Huh?"

Toya: "Car shop at talyer ang family business nila President, so she often says that she loved machines since she's little. She herself said that she wanted to work on the engine. So hayaan na lang nating siya."

Gabby: "And besides it has more than 500 parts so it's impossible to finish if you don't know what you're doing."

Paul: "She must really love it to go that far."

Kevin: "Tara guys let's take a break first habang hinihintay natin matapos ni Pres ang engine." (walking to go outside)

Mark: "I'm hungry! Hey! Paul, tara!." (turns to look at Paul) "Huh?" His gone! "PAUL!!!!!" (shout)
(in the work room at the second school building)

Pamela: "Wow! It's finished!" J (unsteadily walks towards the door) I wonder if everyone's doing well. Is Paul there too? P-a-u-l (stumble) (she tripped her foot) it'd be nice if he's there..

Paul: "Seriously you're really careless." (catches her before she fall to he face)

Pamela: Paul.. am I hallucinating? He came.

Paul: "Rather, what an amazing appearance."

Pamela: "Eh!" (so dirty) (blushing) "I stink and I'm filthy. Bitawan mo ako nadudumihan ko na ang damit mo." Kahit na pagod na pagod na ako at halos hindi ko na magalaw katawan ko, ayaw kong makita ako ni Paul sa ganitong ayos. Nakakahiya! (pushed Paul away) I'm so embarrassing that I can't stand it.

Paul: (hugs Pamela from the back) "You're not filthy. It's proof that until now you've been working hard. Even if you're sweating or covered in oil, ang ganda mo parin."

(clash) (boom) (sound coming from their work room)

Pamela: "Did that sound come from our work room?"

(they went to check their car)

Pamela: "Anong nang yari dito...?" (their car's paint was ruined) our car who did such an awful thing? (someone approaches from behind) "Aray!" (someone grabbed her)

Paul: "Cyrus?"

Cyrus: "Hi! Paul, long time no see. Na-miss mo ba ako?"

Paul: "Gago! Let her go!"

Cyrus: " Narinig namin na lumipat ka dawn ng school and you're enjoying yourself making a car with your "FRIENDS". You transferred dahil malapit mo nang mapatay ang underling ko. I thought you were suffering, yet you look like you're having fun here"

Pamela: these people are from Paul's previous school?

Cyrus: "How nice it is to make a car." (moves towards the car) "Gusto mo bang tulungan namin kayong pagandahin ito?" (bang) (hit the car with a metal bat)

Pamela: Everyone's...car that's too cruel.. GRRRRR....

Cyrus: "Oh my, umiiyak na ata itong babaeng ito dahil siguro sa sobrang takot. It can't be helped, you're a little dirty, but I'll comfort you." (gets close to Pamela)

Paul: "Ugh! YOU!!!!, BITAWAN NYO AKO!!!.." (angry)

(snap)(punch) (thud) (guy drops to the ground unconscious)

Paul: wha...

Pamela: "HOY. KAYONG LAHAT, PUMILA KAYO AT TATAPUSIN KO 'TO IN 10 SECONDS."

Paul: Anong nangyayari dito? Is this really Pamela?

Everyone: (suddenly appears at the back when they heard the sound from the work room) "WOOOOOOHH! KILLER MACHINE ACTIVATED."

Toya: "Lumaki si President sa pamilyang maraming lalaki. She is the youngest that is why she was taught by her older brothers self defence. Kaya nga ang nick name niya sa school ay "killer machine". To be exact she's a machine that makes precise and deadly attacks."

Gabby: "If you anger miss President, hindi ka na sisikatan ng araw."

Kevin: "Great job Pres!" (walks towards Pamela)

Toya: "Tanga! Wag! Nakalimutan mo na ba?"

(kick)

Kevin: "Ouch!"

Toya: "Once the "Killer Machine" is activated, hindi na siya nakakakilala kung sino ang kalaban at kaibigan!"

(menacing) (killer eyes)

Everyone: "Eeeeeeek! Nakakatakot."

Pamela: "Sinong gustong sumunod?"

(Paul's walking closer to Pamela)

(smack) (punch)

Paul: "STOP IT!" (he catches Pamela's punch before it hit him)

Everyone: "PAUL WAG!"

Pamela: (she came back to her senses) "Bitawan mo ako!"

Toya: "That's right. Let go of her, Paul! That's not Pamela you know."

Pamela: Paul knows. It's the end. "LET GO OF ME I SAID!" This person as well, hindi niya na ako ituturing na isang babae.

Paul: "Kahit sabihin mo pang bitawan kita, I won't let you go." (grabs Pamela's hand and pulls her closer for a kiss) "Kahit mawalan ka ng control sa sakili mo, I'll hold you back with my strength, dahil makakasama yan sa sarili mo. I'll always be by your side, tandaan mo yan, Pamela."

Pamela: Paul. (happy) (crying) "Thank you."
