Aparri was in love with Hazel, but he was good at hiding it. Augustus was always asking him if he is "okay" but James would always replay with, dude I have my own personal things OKAY?! Augustus knew something was wrong, but he did not bother. After a few weeks of James following Hazel, he finally asked her out. {Skip to 2 weeks before} Augustus was ready to ask Hazel out, so he brought her some orange Tulips. Augustus walked up to Hazel and asked her: Will you go on a date with me? Handing her the tulips. Hazel said yes, and they decided to go on Friday, after two weeks cause they had too many exams. {back to real time} Aparri asked Hazel if she is free this Friday so they could go watch a movie or something. Hazel told James she had plans with Augustus Waters so she couldn't come.
