CHAPTER 10: LET'S BATTLE UP

DUSTIN P. O. V
Eddie and I were training in the basement. He circled his wand around and threw fire my way. I shrunk down dodging it before shifting back and clapping my hands sending a sound wave towards him. It was so slow to the point where you can see the wave. It wasn't hard for Eddie to dodge it by levitating into the air. He flew over towards me with his leg straight out kicking me in the stomach. I went flying and forcefully hit the wall.

Eddie levitated back down with a smile. "That was good. You getting better."

I got up from the ground. "No I'm not. I make Cross bloods look pathetic."

"No you don't. Learning control takes some time."

"All I had is time." I folded my arms. "I had my powers all of my life. In the future my mom doesn't let me fight demons. I know it's because I'm not ready but I just want to be the hero for once."

Eddie sighed and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Nobody is untrainable. Once we all defeat Pam together and rescue the family you'll know how it feels to be the hero."

I smiled.

MAYA P. O. V
I was flipping through the Book of Shadows. Just as Sam walked in I smiled. "Found it!"

"Found what?" He asked.

"Close the door."

Sam pushed his eyebrows together and closed the attic door. He walked towards me.

"When I was in Pam's fortress I found out where the family is." I said.

His mouth dropped and his eyes widened. "What?!"

I raised my hand and shot a ray of light in his right eye. "Keep your voice down."

He clenched his eye closed and covered it with his hand. "Did you have to shoot me in the eye?"

"She's keeping them in the magic hallway. I found a spell that let's mirror Pam's power. However we can only use the spell once." I explained. "That means we would have to find out what spell Pam is using, find the reversal spell, and cast it with her magic."

"I- I don't know." He said a bit skeptical. "Why can't you cast the spell alone?"

"Because I'm a Cross blood not a full Witch so my spell casting won't be enough for a spell this strong.. But I'm thinking a full Halliwell Witch and a one fourth Halliwell Witch can get the job done."

"I still don't know." He said making my eyes roll. "We should tell the others."

"Do you want to save mom and dad or not?" I folded my arms. "Because the others will mess up everything."

Just when he was about to respond the door opened revealing Eddie.

"Guys team meeting downstairs " He informed us.

"Okay we'll be right down." Sam responded.

Eddie turned around and began walking down the stairs.

DIANA P. O. V
We all gathered in the living room. Eddie and I stood in front of everyone. Sitting on the couch was Dustin, Theo, and Vashon and sitting on the arms was Amelia and Priscilla. On the two chairs were Margo and Christina. Maya and Sam came walking down the stairs and stood next to Blake who was leaning against the wall.

"Good everyone's here." I said. "Were still nowhere closer to finding out where Pam is keeping our family. All we know is that she is draining their powers. The question is why? She already has a huge amount of power. Why would she want more?"

"I do know that it takes a while to drain power. Especially from a Halliwell Witch." Theo explained.

"That's good." Eddie responded. "It gives us time to figure out Pam's strategies."

"We have a problem geniuses." Amelia said. "How the hell do we figure out her strategies when we know nothing about her powers. The bitch imaged a wand into reality "

"She's right." Christina added. "We don't know what she's capable of."

"I have a plan." I began to say before Maya cut me off.

"Wait hold on. Who made you group leader?"

My eyes slightly widened. "Oh.. Uh.. I just assumed-"

"Yeah nobody even voted." Vashon said.

"I think we should fight for the spot!" Priscilla said excitedly.

"Why can't we just do like a raffle or something?" Margo said as she texted away on her phone.

"I like that idea!" Blake said as he smiled at Margo.

"Okay guys I am group leader." I said a bit loud with a smile. "Here's the plan. It's a bit risky but it could work. We raid Pam's fortress. Maya you checked all the bedrooms right?"

She slowly nodded her head. "Nothing."

I sighed. "They have to be there. Somewhere. She probably has another room she made with magic. Or the basement." I said. "We just have to hit Pam with our best shot. We're all very powerful. That's why the elders chose us."

"Really moving speech. No, really." Vashon stood up. "Now let's battle up."

Eddie waved his hand down making Vashon sit back down on the couch. "Not you three."

"What?! that's not fair!" Vashon said.

"Sorry Vashon but this could be really dangerous."

"Yeah for these losers." He said referring to Theo and Dustin.

"Hey!" They responded in unison.

Vashon ignored them. "But not me. Besides your going to need all the back up you can get since Ryder and Logan are going to be there."

"Which is why we already have two Were-eagles and a Were-panther." Blake told him. "I'm pretty sure a winey Were-egale who doesn't know how to use his abilities won't be of use to us."

"Well I'm going and none of you can stop me."

I flicked my hand and froze him. I knew it wasn't going to hold him for long since he was a Were creature. "Come on. We don't have a lot of time. Priscilla beam us there?"

She stood up from the arm of the couch. "Everyone join hands."
