Thousand Years

P.O.V Girl

My heart beat fast. The colors around me turned into a colorful haze. I promised myself last night, I promised myself that I would be brave. Today was the day that I told him how I feel, but how can I when I'm so afraid? I see him standing alone, alone in the haze. Only him, beside myself, but seeing him here makes all of my doubt fade away into the colors that surround us. So far, I'm one step closer.

I began to slowly approach the male. To myself I thought what I should say to him, ' Should I tell him how many times I've died inside, just waiting on him', ' I should tell him not to be afraid. I've loved him for a thousand years, and I'll love him for a thousand more.'

P.O.V Boy

Time seems to stop. I see that she has began to approach me. She has beauty in what she does, but I'll stay brave. I will not let anything take her away from me. All this time, every breath has led to this. Only one step closer.

To myself I thought what I should say to her, ' Should I tell her how many times I've died inside, just waiting on her', ' I should tell her not to be afraid. I've loved her for a thousand years, and I'll love her for a thousand more.'

P.O.V Omniscient

Both began to simultaneously think to themselves. Their thoughts sang to each other, and with their words their souls began to resonate. If their souls could sing, it would sound like this, ' And all along I believed, I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me, and I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more. I'm one step closer. One step left.'

P.O.V Boy

I began to speak to her, " I wanted to tell you that everyday I have died waiting for you." I hesitated, " And please don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more." The boy rubbed his arm sheepishly and sighed. I turned to walk away, but snapped my head back to the girl who began to speak.

P.O.V Girl

" Hey wait!" I grabbed his hand, " All along I believed I would find you." I looked him in his eyes, and began again, " Time has brought your heart to me. And I have loved you for a thousand years, and I'll love you for a thousand more."

P.O.V Both

All around them, the colors began to swirl. Lovingly they looked into each other's eyes.

" I'll love you for a thousand more." They both say to each other.
