Examination Hall C, AshaSEC

I moved restlessly in my seat. Glancing at the Invigilator that was unfortunately sitting right in front of me. I ran out of luck on this final BECE exams day as the Invigilator had changed his sitting position because of that annoying Isha girl! She won't be smart with copying and now we all in this part of the hall can't even peak at the nearest person's work!

Humph! What an awful way to end my junior high school exams!

"Ms Dodzi, is something the matter?" The invigilator narrowed his gaze on me and I briskly shook my head. He frowned then got up, staring at all in the hall. "Be getting ready to stop work!"

What? I screamed within then almost sighed in relief aloud when he moved amongst us. I swiftly peaked at Lariba's work then filled my potholes just in time before he came to stand before us.

Twenty Minutes Later,

"Goodness, Eyi, you are sweating!" Sisi noted in shock. "If you the French madam comes out of the hall sweating, we should be drowning by now." She teased and I glared at her, walking ahead to where our school bus was.

Lariba laughed a bit then shook her head. "It isn't that she didn't know. You know how confused Eyi gets when given too much attention. The invigilator was practically an inch away from her! I had difficulty copying too."

Sisi nodded, as they caught up with me. "Isha is such copycat and she isn't ashamed a bit koraa. She can copy you from A to Z, non stop!"

"Exactly_" Lariba frowned. Wait, is that not PJay? What the heck is he doing here? She turned to me. You too are still at loggerheads?" I merely shrugged.

"Goodness Ey, you keep a grudge for too long. Come on, he should have been back in school on Tuesday but... Just accept his apology already." Sisi pressed.

My two best friends_ PJay is no longer my best friend. They have been doing that since Monday. I don't care, I'm so not talking to that pompous jerk! I pushed them aside and entered the bus.

"What? You won't even come and mingle with students from other schools before it's time for us to leave?" Sisi blinked.

Lariba giggled. "You already know why, Sisi Asantewaa. Come on, let us go mingle and let this lover girl sulk alone."

"What?" I shot her a heated glare.

"Ooh, I get the picture now. She wants a private moment with darling Kwesi Poku Jr of Mmarima mma." Sisi purred to my chargrin. "I know Sectec boys are hot but seriously_"

"Just leave me be, you two!"

They both burst into laughter and stopped, their smile widening. "And here comes, Mr Lover boy!" Sisi announced dramatically.

"Hey girls, PJay murmured and hugged the two briefly. I looked away when he turned to me. Eyram..."

"Well, we will leave you be, dear. See you soonest." Lariba chuckled and they moved away to mingle as they put it.

I moved further back into the bus and pulled my uniform shirt off to reveal our year group T-shirt that we agreed on and bought. It had the school crest and motto on the front. The back had our year group name; our names; nickies and group motto. My Nickname is still Eyi.

I heard a loud clearing of throat. Actually forgot PJay was here.
"Why are you not in school?" I cocked my head to one side.

He sighed then came to sit beside me. "I cannot, not until you forgive me. I was wrong, Eyi can you not forgive me?"

"Why did you have to be such a jerk that day? Do you always have invite before you barge into my house?"

He took my hands in his. "I know, mama did not tell me anything about you being there and accused me of disrespecting her. So I got mad_"

"I'm not saying you should get mad at her but why must you turn your anger on me rather? Is that what my supposed best male friend must do?"

PJay tensed for a moment. "I'm sorry, Eyi so please forgive me." He gazed at me, his expression I found strange. Was my not talking to him affecting him that much?

I sighed. "On one condition, PJay. He smiled slightly, nodding for me to go on. That you return to school today_ right now.

He sat back, completely taken aback by my condition. "I wasn't expecting that but I will if you walk with me awhile. Let's explore the school then I will leave once you guys leave."

"Okay," I nodded and we got out and toured the campus. We spotted Lariba and Sisi with two guys and joined them.

I smiled, noting how new graduates like myself were chatting, flirting and getting to know new people. Nice way to end our exams_ but of course, there is the after party. And Sisi was hosting it in her house tomorrow evening. We all are looking forward to it!
