Ian was just waking up, apparently he had fallen asleep on the couch next to Mindy, so Austin went off to bed without him, sadly. Ian went up to make some coffee for the two of them, despite the fact Austin was still asleep. As he was pouring the coffee into the cup, he heard a knocking sound in the distance. Ian left the two full coffee cups on the table to go answer the door, hoping the coffee wouldn't get too cold. Ian looked through the peephole from his apartment, only to be surprised by seeing Jasper and Zane on the other side. Ian opens the door, realizing how short he was compared to the two of them. The couple had recently moved in next door to Austin and Ian and had been dating for a couple of years at this point on. Ian was still a bit tired from staying up late last night, but decided that it would be the best to just let the two inside anyways.
"Nice place you two have here" Zane said joyfully.
Ian could tell it was sarcasm however, as the apartment was cluttered in closes and empty dishes that had probably been set down for days.
"I have to sayIan , i'm impressed, the both of you seem really happy here!" Jasper said smiling, holding Zane's hand a bit tighter
"I just can't wait for the two of us to start a living together" Zane said staring at Jasper with a soft chuckle of laughter.Ian laughed with the two, a bit awkward and jealous of their relationship, but decided not to worry much about it and offer them inside for some coffee instead. Ian went over to the counter to make some more coffee, but could hear Zane and Jasper talking behind him, laughing. The only thing at that moment was of Austin as memories and thoughts went through his head. He thought of all the times they shared together, the times laughing and making jokes, but instead of making him happy, it made him worried. Did Austin like him, was he flirting, was it obvious that he liked Austin, but was he not good enough for him? All of these thought flew through his head until he felt something burning on his hands only to see that he had overflown his mug as waterfalls of coffee poured over his two bare hands. Ian flinched at the sighting, gripping his hand in as he felt the burning sensation boil his skin. Ian quickly moved his hand away from the burning liquid and went to go give the remaining cups to Jasper and Zane. The three went to go sit down afterwards, and Ian could see through their faces that they were regretting coming over at this point.
"Thank you so much for letting us in by the way" Jasper says, trying to be polite.
"We're so sorry if we were intruding you two by the way... it's just" Zane says, studdering a bit.Ian could tell at this point that Zane was going to say something that he knew he wouldn't like. He couldn't explain exactly what it was, but he could feel his stomach slowly twisting
