Cant't Dodge Feelings

  Emotions flood over my body like a tsunami. Its Been 5 seconds and Mal hasn't gotten up. 6, 7, 8,9  I count in my head. I get to 10 when I can't take it anymore. Nobody has came to him yet. I run. I run through the people, the teachers. His friends. I sprint  up to him and kneel by his side.I feel tears stinging at my eyes and I try to tell them not to fall but they do anyway. I take his shoulders and try to shake him awake but its no use. I can feel him breathing and i'm petty sure this is the first time i've ever been this close to him. By now teachers and students start to crowd around us. Teachers come up and try to get Mal to wake up. They are trying to pull him away from me and, I know its selfish, but I didn't want them to . I wanted to hold him forever. Though I knew I couldn't. I sighed and backed away from him, letting the teachers continue their attempt to wake him. The tears are still falling as I take a lonely walk to the water fountain. Im sure everyone knew that Malachy would be alright, but i'm also sure everyone knew something about me now. Everyone knew that I have a crush on Malachy Sulivan.
