The day ended, and Ava dreaded as Conan told her he wanted to speak to her again before she left. She walked to his dressing room and it was opened. She called out as she walked in, "Conan?""Yeah." He was on the couch.
She looked over at him and said, "You wanted to speak to me."
"Yes, Ava. Look about today, I wanted to apologized. I may have said some things that I didn't mean. I didn't mean it the way you thought. I just didn't think before I speak. Just seeing you with Seth, I just assumed. I just felt I should apologize." He told her.
"I understand. What you saw shouldn't have happened in the first place. And I don't think I should have yelled at you or yelled at Seth in front of you."
"That was actually shocking. I didn't expect it. I told Seth I felt for him when you went home." He laughed. Then he asked, "Why didn't you tell anyone about you and Seth, if you do not mind me asking?"
"I was afraid I would be treated differently and that is the last thing I want. I want to be treated as everyone else here. I got to where I am cause I worked hard. It wasn't handed to me. I don't want people to feel I am entitled to something cause of who I date."
He nodded as he understood. Then said to her, "How about I promise I will not treat you any differently. I am just going to act like today never happened and I hope you can do the same and we keep going how everything was. You are good at your job and you do work very hard. I cannot doubt that. Just let's go back to this morning before everything happened. And erase that part from our minds."
"That would be great, thank you." She smiled.
He smiled back and nodded. "Good."
"Conan, can I asked you a favor?" She asked.
"Depends on the favor."
"Can we keep it between us about my relationship with Seth? I really do not want other people around here to know."
"I think I can manage that."
She smiled, gratefully. "Thank you."
"Okay, now go on home. But take it easy on Seth. He is a good guy." He told her.
She nodded and said, "Goodnight, Conan, I'll see you in the morning."
"See you tomorrow, Ava."

Ava walked through the front door. She was tired, it was a hell of a day and late. She got to the kitchen and saw a bouquet of red roses on the counter. She moved over to them and saw a card. She took it off and opened the envelop. She pulled out the card.
I am so sorry, baby. Please forgive me.
I love you.
Seth
She put the card on the counter and smiled to herself. She never got flowers from anyone but Mark. There were special. He wanted to show her how sorry he was and he really showed her. She then leaned in and smelled the flowers as she closed her eyes. She then decided to find Seth. She looked around downstairs and no sign. So, she went up the stairs and noticed a light on in his office with the door cracked opened. She pushed it open to find Seth sitting at his desk on his laptop with his glasses on. He looked away from the screen to see Ava. He gulped as he waited for her to get home to finish him off. She then asked, "Is Sam in bed?"
