Chapter 4 - Different Personality

Tetsu's pov:

"H-Hakari!"

She turned towards me,"There's something we gotta say", she smiled while blushing. This caught everyones attention...

Hakari took a deep breath, "We're dating", she said while holding onto Akashi's arm. "Whaaaaaaattt!", we all said. I could still see the blush as she diverted her gaze from me. "When did this happen?", Kise asked. "We secretly dated in middle school and we still stayed together when I went to America", she smiled. Akashi still didn't matter a word but kept a smirk. Before i could say anything more, Hakari continued.. "As we both were caught up with our own basketball team's we didn't really talk but when Tetsu asked for my help, i knew this was time for me to come back so i did", she smiled.

"Wow, great story", Akashi finally spoke as he patted her on the head but in between a pat and a smack. "Akashi that hurt", she whined.

"Well, it was nice seeing everyone but we must go to practice", Akashi said and gripped onto Halari's shoulder which made her whince. "Im gonna stay with these guys for a bit so il join you later", she said softly but couldnt get out of Akashi's  grasp.

Hakari pov:
Akashi dug his nails into my shoulder, i tried to shake his hand off but it wouldn't budge. "Akashi!", i said now more of a shout. He still didn't listen and began to drag me along, i kept trying to get out of his grasp but Akashi was still refusing to. That was until Kise grabbed his arm and yanked him off me. I stumbled back and into Tetsu's arms.

"Get off me Kise!", Akashi snapped and pushed the blonde away. He daggered his eyes at me and i saw eyes of someone who i didn't love, someone who i didn't know. "Akashi", i said and all he did was walk away. Tetsu kept hold of me as he walked off. "Whats with him?", i asked. Tetsu looked down and let go...
I turned to him with concern on my face, "Tetsu? Tell me whats wrong", i whined. "He isn't the Akashi you knew, he's changed", he said. I looked round and saw everyone else nod.

I looked down and tears fell from my face. I was then embraced by my brother, i cried into his chest as what he said couldn't be true... I just couldn't believe his words but from his actions.. I knew it was true..

Time-skip

I sat in the garden with a basketball in my hand and rolled it on my finger. "Hey", i held the ball and turned to see Tetsu in his pyjamas. "Hey bro", i mumbled and threw the ball at the wall. "Are you okay Hakari?", he asked. "Yep, just itching to practice", i replied. "I see, well there's tea inside if you'd like some", he said. "Ah no I'm good, but I think you should get to bed otherwise Riko will kill you for being tired", i said and kept throwing the ball at the wall which then bounced back to me. Testsu quickly grabbed the ball, i forgot he could hide his presence like me...

"You get some sleep too", he frowned and walked over. He held the ball in one hand and the other he grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet. "Its effort to get home", i pouted and jumped onto his sofa. "Why don't you stay here tonight then", he sighed. "Thanks bro, goodnight", i grabbed the sofa blanket and snuggled into it while grinning. "Goodnight Hakari", he waved and disappeared into his room. I sighed and soon drifted to sleep...

Time-skip

I dropped Tetsu off at his school then went to mine. School went by really slow and trying to hide from Akashi was really difficult. I sat on the wall outside of one of the gyms and sighed. It was after school and im supposed to be going to practice with my team. "Hakari, you okay?", i turned to see Emi, she was one of my teammates. "Hey, i guess you could say I am", i answered. "Come on, practice is gonna start and we need our captain", she smiled. "Okay okay", i laughed in return. "Il be there in a minute but for now get everyone to warm up with some stretches and sprints", she nodded and bounded off toward the gym.

I let a sigh escape my lips as I looked around the place, that was until I heard footsteps.. I gave a sigh and turned myself round tit he direction Emi went, "I said I would be there in a-", the haired girl from before wasn't whom had come up me, who stood there was an all too familiar red head. "Hakari", he spoke but I stood to my feet before he could say anymore, and so I marched on past him. "Ive got practice", i mumbled and went in to join my team with him standing there and watching me walk out of his sight..
