chapter 2: Im no hero

It was 5 p.m I was beginning to think "should I make something or steal something". I really didnt know what to do at this time.
*tummy growling*
Salem: steal something, hmmm but what though. Oh well I'll just see when I get there. *starts to put on my shirt n flannel* I am sure craving some Chinese though, Ill go check out that one cafe down over by the bridge. *Takes my vest and attach the hoodie and began to walk towards the cafe*.
You maybe are woundering why dont I find a job or live like a bum. Haha no thank you, I sometimes wounder how do I still live in a good home with a working heater, stove, water. That is something I question but why cant I stop thinking about that girl.....Brittney Madrid, she looks so....so amazing. Like a dream of a Warrior gained 1000xp coming home to his wife and looks just like Brittney. Saying "hello my love, back from another Adventure I bet". Oh I would love her so much for the rest of my life.
Salem: *sigh* sadly she probably dont want me.
As I arrived at the cafe, right when I was about to head in an apartment complex exploded and knocked me down to the ground. As I slowly got back up on my feet Here a women crying for help.
Women: HELP! ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ME MY CHILDREN ARE STILL IN THERE!
People where holding her back saying help is on the way, but I thought to myself how long is the fire department going to arrive and save them. So I took action and I put on my hood n ran stright in.
Children: *crying* MOMMY *coughing* HELP US MOMMY!
The fire was rowring louder n stronger.
Salem: HEY IS ANYONE IN THERE!
Children: IN HERE PLEASE HELP US *coughs harder*
As I ran stright to there sound of help a wooden beem landed in front of me, on fire and my first instinct was to go around.
Children: ITS COMING CLOSER HELP US! *coughing*
Salem: IM ON MY WAY LITTLE ONES!
So I catch my breath and ran stright to the beem, soon I was there I jumped covering my face with my arms then landed on the other side.
Salem: woohoo! *smash through the door*
When I smash through the door I sow the 2 kids one that looks like shes 9 and the other a baby, but before I try to get them a wooden beem fell on the door n blocked me, but this time i cant jump throught them.
Salem: Dam
As I look around I broke the window and hop out catching myself on the bay of the window. I jumped across the window where the kids where crying n screaming
Salem: *bracks the window* COME ON KIDS CLIME ON TO ME!
As the children slowly makes there way to me they climed on my back and I was holding the baby in one of my arms.
Salem: I got you dont worry *looks around*
I saw a wall right behind me, I pushed myself from the burning building to the wall n landed on top. I jumped down, landed on the floor as the kid on my back huged me saying thank you.
Child 1: thank you, thank you, thank you mr. You have saved us your our hero.
Salem: me a hero?
It sounded good, but not to long ago i was going to steal some Chinese.
Salem: I'm sorry kid but im no hero. Come on lets take you two to your mother.
We began to walk to the front to find there mother as I sow her again Brittney. I was so nervous to thi k what would she say. So I put my hood more down as there mother found me.
Women: MY BABIES OH MY BABIES! *comes towards them* thank you so much your my hero.
Salem: hehe thanks but im no hero.
Women: Well I have to give you something in return.
Salem: no need if it was my children I would of done it no matter what.
Women: *hands him a 20 dollar bill* take it
Salem: thanks
Brittney: hey mr. Hooded man over here! *runs towrds him*
Salem: oh no sorry I....I have to go *rans away*
Brittney: *sigh* that would lf been great on the paper.
Women: I'll help you with that.
As I ran I looked back and sow her smile. Wow that smile is so amazing, but what was she doing there.
Salem: *tummy rumble*
Maybe Ill think about that after dinner at the cafe.
