My mind keeps on going back to last nights dream. It was making sense now, the puzzles are being put together. Piece by piece. Mom has been looking at me funny. What if she knows I lied? She can't, I'm being paranoid. She's probably worried about the mission today. She wants it to go perfectly. And she doesn't want anything bad to happen to me.

"Are you ready Aria?"

"Yes Mom, I am."

"Gun?" She asked.

"Check. One in my foot and one around my waist."

"Knife?"

"In my pocket."

"You know what you are doing?" She asked.

"Yes, distracting the Division agents so you can get the President of Africa out safely." I reply confidently.

"Good girl. I love you Aria. So much."

"I love you too Mom."

She kisses my forehead and grabs my hand.

"Let's go." I say.

* * * *

"Aria, can you hear me?!" I hear Mom say in my ear comm.

Michael is standing in front of me, holding a gun.

"You're not going to shoot a 14-year-old girl are you now?" I say confidently.

"You are worth more than Nikita. I guess that is why Percy wants you."

"I'll take that as a compliment. " I reply.

"Aria!" I hear Mom say. Then she sees me and Michael.

"Get away from my daughter!" She says as she brings out her knife.

"We were just talking. Getting to know your so called daughter." He fires back.

"Nikita, if you take one step, I will shoot her."

Mom looks at me, with fear in here eyes. I nod at her to let her know that I'm okay. She smiles slightly. Her gaze was still on Michael.

"I was wondering you know? Who the father was?" He begins.

When Michael said the word 'father' mom's eyes grew big.

"But then I realized. Daniel Monroe. You had his daughter."

Mom never mentioned anyone named Daniel Monroe, and I'm not surprised. She didn't even mention my father.

"Daniel Monroe?" I ask.

"Ah, you didn't tell her did you Nikita? Listen very carefully to this fairytale. Daniel Monroe was your father. We sent your mother on a mission to gather intel and told her not to get 'too attached'. But she did, and fell in love. She broke one of the rules in Division. Rule number 4- Never fall in love. The people you love are liabilities. Shortly after they were secretly engaged, I guess they conceived you shortly afterwards too. And they lived happily ever after."

"No my fairytale didn't even begin because Divison killed him!" Mom screams.

I stand there in shock. What am I hearing? My father was dead. Did he even know about me? I look over to mom and see her crying. She must've really love him. She would never cry, especially in front of me.

"You think you have everything figured out don't you?." Mom says in between sobs.

"I KNOW I have evrything figured out, unless there is something else you have revealed?" Michael says.
