I Dunno How Else to Sum it up, Cuz Words Ain't Good Enough.

My parents kept their word, as I kept mine.

I got all A's in my GCSE's and A-levels.

It's like they finally trust and believe me now.

Everythings more or less perfect.

I travel back to the UK alone, on New Years Eve.

Staying in London to see the fireworks.

I walked out of the airport, the cold wind hitting me like a ton of bricks.

Wow, I've been away only four years, this is gunna take some getting use to.

"Sierra?!" I heard a voice ask in excitment from behind me.

I felt the smile grow on my face as I turned to face the person I'd probably missed the most.

"Sophiiiieee!" She attacked me into an much missed hug, her huge winter coat engulfing me.

"Cant. Breath." I said a she squeezed me tighter.

"You're never leaving ever again!"

"Okay okay I won't. Come on, I'm bloody freezing."

"Havent changed much huh?"

"Just happier." I replied smiling at her as we walked to her car.

"Yea, you look it. Told you it gets better in the end." She said, nudging me and grabbing one of my bags.

"Mate, I've still got a long way to go, its not the end." I said winking as we put my stuff in the boot of her car.

I plonked myself in the passenger seat as Soph got in the drivers seat.

I didn't realise that I'd zoned out until she began to wave her hand and pulling faces at me.

"Sorry...its just...last time I saw you... We were just kids-"

"Well, I dunno about you but I still technically classify myself as a kid." She said raising her hands in defence.

"Until I'm 21, I'm a complete child."

"Why 21?"

"Everythings legal then."

I wondered for a bit then agreed with her.

"Right, I've got it all planned. We're gunna quickly go to my apartment, dump your stuff, change, then go see the fireworks."

She spoke as she effortlessly drove out of the carpark.

"Its weird seeing you drive." I spoke staring at her hands on the wheel.

"Sierra-"

"I can't even believe that I'm trusting you with my life."

"Sie-"

"You could kill us both, just like that." I said snapping my fingers.

"SIERRA DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID??!"

"Mate I'm thick, not deaf."

"Regardless, do you know what's happening? And pfft gurl, no longer are you thick, Miss A's"

"Yeah, yeah. I heard you. Apartment, change, fireworks. And who told you?!"

"I have your mums number. I asked how come she didn't come back with you."
