At the age of 10, Asgore had become the king of the underground after his parents tragically passed away. He appointed his girlfriend, Toriel, to be his queen and they got married. 2 years passed and the two seperated after King Asgore brutally murdered human children to gain their souls to take down the barrier. Toriel hated that and left him. Monsters slowly started to lose hope as two more years passed and no sign of a human to gain the last soul to escape. Everyone began to get depressed besides the children. Monsters were at each other's throats and many had scars from either self-harm or other monsters. At least one monster dusted in about two days. Then a miracle happened. A human child had fallen into the underground.
