Once I woke up this morning I knew something strange was going on. Then I realized its my birthday! I was turning 18 today and my best friend, Sophie, was supposed to surprise me with something.

Next thing I knew my phone was blowing up with messages;

"Happy Birthday girl!

~Sophie"

"Happy Birthday Abigail!"

"Hope you have a great day!

-mom"

There was only one other person that I was hoping would message me, Josh. I love Josh and of course he woke up while I was in the middle of school. If you were wondering who Josh is, Josh is my boyfriend for over 2 years . He goes to a completly other school in a different city, and most of the times he doesn't go. We usually visit each other on breaks but I sometimes don't have the money to.

"Hey boo, I'm sorry I took so long happy birthday!

"Thanks JJ, I'm in class, I'll talk later!

"MISS JENSON! Texting in class aren't we?" Of course the most obnoxious teacher in the world caught me.

"I- I was just asking my mom if my turtle had decided to run away..?"

"Sure, Miss Jenson, you have ASD!"

"Uh excuse me Mr. Hendenson? What's ASD?" Butted in Sophie.

"Sophie, Sophie, Sophie... Sophie ASD is what most call after school detention. But what I call it is another three hours of torturing you twerps." Yet another smart remark from the idiotic teacher.

"Whatever I'm outta here.." I quickly replied once the bell rang.

"Miss Jenson! Don't forget your ASD slip!"

About two hours later school was over, of course I ditched ASD, me and Sophie we're driving to her house for the "surprise."

"Sophie can't you just tell me what the surprise is? It would save me a lot of time, because let's face the fact, your a slow ass driver!"

"Calm yourself! Just because its your birthday doesn't-" I gave her the meanest look I could. Then turned my head away fast enough to make my dirty blond hair whip her in the face.

"OWW you know that actually hurt , right ?" she yelled . I laughed at her . "I'm sorry, now pull up into the driveway already ! " I yelled . She pulled up, i jumped out as soon as he stopled, and ran to the door and of course it was locked.

She slowly and mean slower than my grandma walked to thew door. She looked up at me with a grin. She opened the door and......
