As we all jogged to platforms nine and ten, I could here my mom mumbling things under her breath like,

" I really hope they stay out of trouble...those twins...James' first year..."

I couldn't hear it very clearly with the squeaky wheels of my trolley as we hurried as fast as we could to get to the pillar between platforms nine and ten.

When my mom saw the pillar, she told us to hurry up faster, seeing as it was 10 minutes to 11:00. The train was not a second late, it never had been before, Or so my mum told me. So if we missed it, I wouldn't be going to Hogwarts. I couldn't miss it! It was my first year after all.

Ky and Sam looked at each other, then our mom, and nodded. They already did this before, since it was their third year at hogwarts. They ran straight at the pillar, Sam in front with ky behind. Before ky disappeared he shrieked,

" JAMES IS WEARING A PINK BRA-" and then he and Sam vanished.

My cheeks flushing red, I looked at my mom. She gave me a sympathetic look mixed with annoyance. She barely tolerated those two at home, and I was suprised at how she kept her cool right now with how badly they were behaving.

" well, come on James, u have 5 mintes left!" said a voice behind me. I already knew who it was, it was Anna. I could tell by the bossiness in her voice. I knew she was smirking as I ran at the pillar, my mind going

NO UR GONNA CRASH - and I closed my eyes before it sucked me up, and I disappeared.

When I opened my eyes again, it was a completely different world.

People were running in someplaces, others were hugging and saying goodbyes to their children. Some were boarding the train, with huge smiles plastered to their faces as the stepped on.

Oh, the train. I needed to get on it!

As fast as I could, I walked towards where I saw a crowd of kids with trolleys were going. Their was a man in the middle of them, marking off something on a clipboard and told the children to get their stuff off their trolley. As we all did, he went around tapping his wand on the empty trolleys, and they vanished into thin air.

Some kids gasped, and I watched with interest as he pointed at mine, muttered something, and it immediately vanished. The man winked at me before he moved on to the next kid, and I gave him a small smile before I got in line to board the train.

Once I was on board, I walked for a long time before I found an empty carriage. Once I found one, I slid the glass door open, and walked in.

I tried to find Anna and the twins, but I couldn't seem to find them. I walked up and down the halls, seeing a lot of kids with all sorts of sizes of trunks and different pets and such. But then I heard the train whistle blow, and we started moving.

I quickly found a window, and looked out of it and tried to find my mum.

"james!! dont get in trouble! and if you forgot anything just send an owl! take care of your brother and sister! i love you!" yelled my mum, waving and blowing kisses furiously at me. i smiled and waved back at her. you could spot her easily in a big crowd, with her jet black hair and bright green eyes. she was easily as tall as the average man, and she always seemed to be a little louder then the other moms.

I waved until i couldnt see her anymore, then turned and started walking back to my carriage.

I was suprised to find a boy already in there, his jacket covering his face as he slumped against the window. apparently he was asleep...
