Stolen Moments

Hey guys! This is the first thing I've published! It's a poem, and it's just in time for Valentines Day. It's called "Stolen Moments" but the originally drafted name was "Valentines Moment". I hope you enjoy it; I don't write poetry a lot if you can't tell. Thanks for reading and let me know what you think.

The roses are bundled;

High and bright;

They pass from him to her;

in a matter of moments;

Her smile grand, sparkling with delight;

Her eyes light up, with sheer joy;

The blue in them becoming thinner;

The black in them widening;

Becoming bigger, with the excitement;

The moments tick away, as he leans in slowly;

His cheeks a light pink;

Hers a lush, rosy, red;

Her lips pucker, but not from a sour bite;

But in wait, for his;

His meet with hers, pressing ever so gently;

Against her plump, baby pink, lips;

His warm, loving, lips kissing hers;

When they part;

There is no heartbreak;

But they were waiting for the next moment;

To pass.
