BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! "Ughh!" I groaned tapping my alarm clock trying to find the snooze button, until I remembered Jack! I quickly popped out of bed and looked outside, the sun hasn't risen yet. I head into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, dutch braided my hair and wore denim jeans with a plain black long sleeve. I rush outside of the bathroom to see Emma still sleeping, I creep out of the room making sure not to make a sound, I left the room successfully.

I went out onto the deck to find Jack, "BOO!" I screamed and looked behind me and obviously it was Jack. "You scared the living daylights out of me!" I slapped his shoulder and turned around and pretended to be mad.

"Naw is my princess gonna cry?" With his words o turned around and stared him in the eyes, he coughed awkwardly,

"I didn't mean to say 'my' I was supposed to say uh...you know it's like when people make mista-" he kept going on and on saying it was an accident until I said it was okay. I chuckled a little and gave him a hug, he was cute when he was nervous.

"Why did you want to meet me?" I said smiling at him, and then turned back to the horizon,

"I wanted you to see how beautiful the sunrise can be" he said staring at me, which I could see with the corner of my eye, we waited a while and the sun slowly appeared.

"You're right, it is beautiful!" I said staring at the sun rising,

"Now you know what I think of you" he smirked and chuckled lowly.

I turned to face him and smiled, he was still looking at the sun, I realised at how beautiful he was inside and out...he looked at me with a grin,

"What is it? Is there something on my face?" He questioned mockingly, I shook my head and looked back at the rising sun.

"You really are a hard one, aren't you?" He said moving closer to me,

"I don't know what you mean" I said mockingly,

"Come here!" He smirked and started tickling me,

"HAHAHAH...STOP!..HAHAHA, I'M GOING TO KILL..HAHAH..YOU!" I said hitting him as hard as I could to get him to stop,

He finally stopped as he could see that I couldn't BREATHE! He chuckled as for me, I was trying to catch my breath.

"You stupid frog face!" I yelled getting up off the ground, he looked at me with a evil smirk. He pulled me to the ground and he was now on top of me,

"What did you say?" He grinned widely,

"You're a stupid frog face?" I said innocently, he came close to my face and looked at my lips, he smirked and leaned closer,

"Be my partner?" He said grinning but I could see the seriousness in his eyes.

"Of course" I whispered back, he pulled me back up,

"See you tonight?" He asked curiously,

"Uh? What's tonight?" I said confused,

"The welcoming ball! Didn't you know?"

"Uh? No but I guess I'll come" I said smiling,

"Please come, I'll need someone to accompany me" he winked,

"But I already have a date" I said jokingly and walked off,

"Yeah I know, it's me!" He yelled smirking, and walked off. He always knew how to have the last laugh, idiot!

I walked back into my dorm and see Emma awake and pacing around the room, "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU! I WAS WORRIED SICK!" She yelled furiously,

"I was out on the deck" I said scared,

"HAHAHAHA..you're face!" She said cracking up laughing,

"What the hell?" I said confused,

"I'm kidding, Jack called me saying you guys will be outside on the deck,

"Did he give you his number?" I asked a little dissapointed that he hasn't given me his number yet,

"No! He rang me and it said 'No caller ID', although I don't know how he got my phone number" She said chuckling,

"Oh, well get ready, I'm starving!" I grinned, rubbing my stomach.

Once Emma was ready, we headed upstairs to eat breakfast.

"Come on! I'm hungry!" I moaned pulling Emma's arm as she texts 'someone'.

"Wait Rose, be patient!" She replied, clearly annoyed by my attitude, what?! I'm hungry!

"Ugh..forget it, I'll just meet you there" I rolled my eyes and left her to just stand there in the middle of the hall way.

I reach the café and ordered me scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and mashed potatoes and a glass of orange juice, the waitress came back and I reach out to hand him some money,

"There's no need for that young lady" he said smiling,

"But I need to pay, it's what everyone does...you know, when they order things?" I replied confused,

"That young man over there has payed for it" he said pointing to Jack of course, the waitress bowed and walked away and Jack walked my way.

"Hey princess!" He grinned and sat on the other side of the table,

"Hey pretty boy!" I teased, digging into my yum looking breakfast,

"You're cute when you're hungry" he said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear, I looked up with food still in my mouth yet he was still looking at me as though he was in a trance?
