Would like to thank Zoie Epperson for the suggestions! (tbh I didn't think that many people were interested in my writing lol) But I'm so happy that you guys really enjoy my stories 😍 I'm not really positive if I should write more for undertale, but if any of you have suggestions for me, I'll definitely consider them. And remember, I have other stories from other fandoms if you want to check them out, and I'm more than happy to take prompts from other fandoms as well 😊

Summary: not long after the events of the first 'nightmares' story, Papyrus starts having some similar dreams. Though much more mild then Frisk's and Sans', they both start worrying and try to take his mind off of them.

Another night at the uncles' house. The two skelebros had Frisk spending the night at the kids request. They loved having the human over for spaghetti and movies, but Sans also wanted to check in on Frisk to see how frequent the nightmares were now. Luckily for the both of them, ever since the first sleep over, the bad dreams started happening less and less. They were both relieved that they most likely wouldn't have to wake up in the middle of the night to comfort each other again. That is, until someone else in the house had also woken up after a nightmare.
They had all decided to sleep downstairs on the floor, with Frisk getting the couch. After a night of staying up later than Frisk's bed time watching movies and playing video games, the three were out like lights. Before they went to bed though, Frisk and Sans had a quick meeting with each other, going over the past nightmares they'd had. They did this every day they saw each other, always ready to comfort the other, but the good news was that the nightmares had been getting less and less frequent for the both of them, and whenever they did have them, they were much less detailed and gory. So all seemed well as they fell asleep. Until they got an unexpected wake up, that is.
"Psst, Sans," said a familiar voice.
Sans quickly opened his eyes (or eye sockets) and shot upright.
"Geez Paps," he groaned. "Don't scare me like that."
"Oh, my apologies brother." Whispered the bigger skeleton.
"Aww, it's okay Papy. Now, why did you wake me up?"
"Well, it might sound strange," he said. "I know I'm much to old to be waking up my brother for this kind of thing..."
Sans gave a concerned look at Papyrus as he reached out a hand to him. He didn't care what the reason was for Paps to wake him up. If he did, Sans knew it was important.
"Come on bro, don't be like that," he said. "You know you can always talk to me when you need me."
The Great Papyrus gave a small smile. "Thank you brother," he said. "Well, it's about this dream I just had."
Sans' eyes widened. This scene was just a little too familiar, as he remembered the night Frisk and him had sat on the very couch right next to them now. If he and the kid had had the same dreams, could Papyrus be having them too?
"Is something wrong brother?" Papyrus asked.
"What? Ah, no. Nothing," Sans stammered. "Um, what was your dream about?"
"Um..." the bigger skeleton hesitated for a moment. "Well, you and Frisk were, um, fighting. And I can't remember a whole lot of it, but Frisk looked, different. They had this look in there eye, like it wasn't actually Frisk. And there was this smile on there face. A face that looked like it had dried blood on it. And a knife too, with the same blood on it.
"And then you were there, on the other side of this corridor. Your eye was glowing blue, like it does when you practice magic. But there was something else about you. Like you had just had everything taken away from you, a look I've only seen you make once before, after dad-"
He cut himself off as he finally saw his brothers face. A look of what seemed to be a mixture of horror, understanding, and concern. After a moment, Papyrus continued.
"I never actually saw you guys fight. But the worst part was that you both looked like you really wanted to hurt each other. Like you were ready to do anything to each other. Like you would almost ki-"
Papyrus finally stopped as he saw who else had been woken up. Frisk was sitting upright looking at him with the same expression as Sans. They both looked at each other, and they seemed to almost have a silent conversation. After a moment they simultaneously nodded their heads to each other and turned to face Papyrus.
"We think we know the dream you just had." Said Sans.
"We've both had very similar ones before." Frisk added.
They explained everything to Papyrus about that night. How they had been having the exact same nightmares and didn't know what to do. How Frisk decided to put the smile back on Sans' face. And how they had been talking about their dreams to each other to help them.
"So, you think that I'm somehow getting these dreams too?" Papyrus asked.
"We know Papyrus." Said Frisk.
"And were both glade you toled us," said Sans. "Because we've found that the best way to get rid of these dreams is to talk about them. We don't want you going through this alone, because for a while, we were going through it alone too."
Papyrus eyes started to water. "Wowie," he sniffled. "You guys are the best family The Great Papyrus could ever have! And I'm so sorry that I couldn't help you before Sans!"
"What?" The brother asked. "No, don't be sorry for that! I'm the one who didn't tell you, I should be the one who's sorry."
Papyrus' sniffles died down, and in there place was a smile.
"And you also have nothing to apologize for brother."
Frisk looked at the bitter sweet scene before them, as the two brothers embraced each other. But they still wanted to put a smile on Papyrus' face again. As they thought this, they remembered a little discovery that helped them cheer up Sans.
"Hey Sans," they called. "I think that Papyrus could use a taste of the cheer up technique."
With a grin on his face, Sans gave a wink to them and turned back to his brother.
"Well bro, you heard 'em. You need that big grin back on your face too."
As soon as he said this, his bony hands reached out and grabbed the tall skeleton's spine.
"S-Sans, what are you do-ohohOHOHIG? AhahaAHAHA, no!"
Too late, Sans' hands spidered up higher to scratch all over his brother's ribs.
"NYHHEHHHHEEEE! N-no! SANSY WHAHAHAIT." Papyrus was cackling as he fell to the floor on his back. His brother was right on top of him. But little did he know that Frisk decided that they wanted to get in on the fun, and was right next to his bare feet.
"EEEK! Nohoht you too huhuhuhman!" His laughter rose as light tickles on his feet were added into the mix. Although he wasn't quite as ticklish as his brother, he always felt that he was a close second. But right now, as Sans and Frisk went to town tickling him, he felt like he should be given a trophy for 'most ticklish skeleton!'
His cackling didn't stop as Frisk moved up to his knees.
"NYHEHEHE, Frisk! I dohoHOHONT want to kiHIHICK YOU! Nyehehehe!" And he really didn't, so as hard as it was, The Great Papyrus used all his might to keep from kicking the human. Giving a small slap to his brother, however, he was not quite preoccupied with at the moment. His arms flailed and Sans narrowly escaped a bruised eye socket.
"Hey now Papy," the smaller skeleton said in a teasing voice. "That's not very nice. I suppose that now you should find out the tickle monsters favorite fruit!" He looked to Frisk with a wink, and Frisk replied with an existed smile. The two laid off for a moment to allow The Great Papyrus to catch his breath for a moment.
"Oh no, nohohot another one of your puhuhns!" He was still giggling as he tried to control his laughter.
"Really? They seem to really be tickling your funny bone right now," Sans said triumphantly. Frisk giggled as Papyrus let out a groan.
"Well, get ready!" Said Sans with a triumphant grin. "Because the tickle monsters favorite fruit is..." he added a pause, both for dramatic effect and for Frisk to join in.
"RASPBERRIES!" The two tickle monsters said in unison, as they both took a spot on Papyrus' spine to blow a ticklish raspberry.
Papyrus was even more hysterical then before. "NYEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH! NOHOHOHO! YohohOHO know in cahahan't stand rahahahasBERRIEHEHES! SAHAHANS!"
Snorts were now being added into the mass of cackles of laughter.
The two were having a blast, laughing along with the larger skeleton as they squeezed and poked all over his ribs. But they knew that even The Great Papyrus had his limits, so they finally let him go, giving just a few more light scratches for good measure.
The skeleton was panting on the floor, still giggling from the so called 'cheer up technique.' Sans and Frisk finally helped him sit back upright.
"Was that really necessary?" He asked.
Sans and Frisk still smiled at him.
"Of corse it was necessary!" Exclaimed Frisk. "After a night of bad dreams, everyone should be cheered up! Now it's tradition."
Sans chuckled as he patted the human on the head, oblivious to the mischievous grin that was rising on Papyrus' face.
"Well if laughter should be tradition," he said with a tease in his voice, "then why should I hog up all that laughter for myself?"
Then he pounced, trapping his brother and the human in his arms as they giggled and squirmed.
So the nightmares club had grow a little bit bigger that day, but the good news is that there are already two members waiting to comfort and talk to the new skeleton recruit. They always talked about there most recent dreams, and any time someone had a nightmare, the new cheer up comity was ready to put the smile back to their face.
