Gabby woke up, and smiled as she opened her eyes, seeing Casey beside her. With his arms wrapped around her, he looked so peaceful. She placed her hand on the side of his face rubbing her thumb against his cheekbone.
He opened his eyes softly smiling as he saw Gabby beside him.
"Rise and shine sleepy head." She grinned.
He smiled and pulled her body against his pressing his lips to hers, kissing her deeply.
She smiled, kissing him back. "I could wake up like this for the rest of my life and never get tired of it."
Casey smiled. "You mean you could wake up beside me for the rest of your life and never get tired."
She rolled her eyes laughing. "You're so full of yourself Matthew Casey."
Louie climbed on the bed and squeezed himself between them.
"What do you think you're doing kiddo?" Casey say tickling him.
Louie giggled. "Daddy stop it."
Casey smiled and kissed him on the head. "Maybe I'll tickle mommy.".
Louie smiled and nodded in agreement.
Gabby shook her head In protest. "Oh no. Matt Casey if you-" she was cut off by Casey tickling her.
She laughed and moved away from him. Louie laughed at this.
Casey smiled and sat up in the bed. "So Louie, what do you want to do today?" He asked looking at him.
Louie thought about this for a while. "Can we stay home and play?"
Casey and Gabby smiled at each other.
Gabby rubbed Louie's head. "That would be amazing."
"Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm hungry." He smiled getting out of bed.
He slipped on a shirt and walked to the kitchen.
Louie jumped off the bed and followed. Gabby wasn't far behind.
Casey picked Louie up and sat him on the bar. “What do you want to eat?”
“Pancakes.” he smiled.
Casey nodded. “Good choice.”
Gabby smiled at them as Casey started to make breakfast.. “My two favorite boys.”
“We better be.” Casey smiled and kissed her cheek.
Louie covered his eyes giggling. “Ewwww.”
Gabby smiled. “Oh, do you want a kiss Louie?”
Louie laughed. “No mommy!”
Gabby picked him up kissing him all over his face laughing. Louie giggled trying to get away. She smiled and put him back down on the counter. Casey had finished breakfast and was putting it out on the table. Louie and Gabby sat down at the table. Louie in his taller seat so he can reach his food and Matt and Gabby on either side of him.
They finished eating, Gabby put Louie on the floor to watch TV.
That’s when their pagers went off, their groans filling the room.
Louie looked at them. “What does that mean?”
Gabby sighed, crouching down beside him. “It means we have to go to work kiddo.”
Louie looked upset. “But we were supposed to play.”
Casey walked over to them. “We will play when we get back bud I promise.”
