Riley's P.O.V

Here I am in class but not just any class my father's with another lesson coming my way

"Hey beautiful" Lucas said to me kissing me on the cheek

"Hey handsome" I said back blushing

The bell rings and my dad begins the lesson "How many of you feel lucky to have a roof over your head" my dad asked everyone raised there hand.

"How many of you feel lucky to have great friends standing by your side" my dad asked once again everyone raised there hands.

"Here's one, how many of you feel lucky to be able to attend school" my dad asked but this time only a few of us raised our hands.

"Maya why do you feel lucky" my dad asked Maya "Not luck sir blessed see women weren't always allowed to vote sir and women didn't always attend this kind of school so yea I'm real grateful I get the opportunity" Maya said in a serious tone

Everyone took her by surprise even me. "Very good mya" my dad said smiling "Zay why do you feel lucky" my dad asked

"African Americans didn't have the same rights as Whites sir at least back in the 18 or 1900s  even then if we barley got education so I'm thankfhl for the civil rights movement and my amendments giving me the right to sit at this desk" Zay said smiling

"Wow I'm very proud of you guys see I didn't always feel so lucky as a kid growing up I didn't see what was right in front of me" my dad said taking a pause to write something on the board which said Life & Blessings.

"Riley why are you blessed" my dad asked me "Because I have you and mom plus auggie, maya, wonderful friends and boyfriend" I said then continued "not many kids have this much I'm lucky to have all of you in my life I said smiling

"I'm blessed to have a amazing daughter like you Riley" my dad said smiling

"Is it farkle time genius" my dad asked "yes sir" farkle nodded my dad trade places with farkle

"Why am I blessed? Here's why... I'm rich and not many people can say that not many kids have alot of money and I'm lucky I do I'm blessed that I have a dad who works so hard" Farkle said smiling

"I don't have any wholes in my walls no more thanks to farkle and his dad" maya said smiling then continued "my mom just got married to Shawn and I'm lucky to have someone as a dad figure after my actualy dad left I'm blessed all of you are" maya said looking around

"Smackle didn't hear from you yet do you believe Maya is right?" my dad asked

"Yes sir, all of you accepted me into a new school I'm blessed for that when I was new all of you made me feel safe and secure" smackle said "we are glad to have you here smackle" my dad said smiling

"How about you Lucas?" my dad asked once again

"We have you sir we are the luckiest students in the building we should all feel blessed" Lucas stood up amd walked to where farkle was standing.

"Mr. Matthews is one of the most caring people I know even when he chases after me he's just looking after Riley Mr. Matthews is always there for us you guys should all feel blessed" Lucas said serious

"Thank you dad for not only for giving me life but for making sure I was okay everyday" I said smiling "Thank you Mr. Matthews for letting me eat at your house, for letting me stay the night for just being there" Maya said smiling too almost crying.

"I'm blessed to have all of you as students I'm so proud of you guys for who your becoming ever sense you guys got back from the trip you guys have grew I hope you know now how hard life is out there and it doesn't get easier" my father said in a serious tone

"I want everyone to write a letter to someone they are grateful it can be your parents, other teachers etc but remember all of you should be blessed" my dad said smiling

"These desks and hallways are cleaned everyday, you have nice lady's who are kind of enough to make you something to eat five days of the week" my dad continued

"Once upon a time in history Children and women had a hard time attending school because they believed women should be the perfect house wife didn't believe they had the same right as men" farkle spoke

"You should be grateful for those women who fought for your rights but not just them how about all the soilders who went into war for us" Maya said

"Our vegetarians don't get to come home as much as they liked to we all are blessed for those who fought for us cause you probably wouldn't be here without them" I said serious

"Nina why didn't you raise your hand" my dad asked

Nina came here a few weeks ago she's a junior.

"I'm rich, gorgeous and I could have anything I wanted and the only reason why I'm going to this stupid school because my mom wants me to spend more time with my dad" Nina rolled her eyes

"Your a real inggorant bitch you know that" Maya said everyone was shocked but not my dad he smirked "your blessed your rich and that your dad wants you to spend time with him" Maya said angrily then continued "not many kids get that I know I didn't" Maya said looking hurt

"My first seen my dad in like 8 years just a couple months ago told me about his knew family and everything not once did he say Maya I regret leaving" Maya went on I was proud of her " yoy have no idea how bless you are

"She's right Nina life isn't always rainbows and sunshine out there" my dad said "farkle here is Rich but he knows he blessed" my father finshed

"Guys remeber not everybody had or has the opportunity's you do so take advantage not everyone gets a mom and dad" Maya said "not everyone gets to go to school" Zay added

"Not everyone gets food on the table" Lucas said smiling "you guys have Janitor Harvey to clean up after you" Farkle said serious "you guys have lunch ladies who are willing to cool for you and a roof over your head" smackle said

"And you have amazing teachers like my dad here to help you through anything if you need someone to be there for you we are all around" I said smiling

"I'm glad I let my students be the teachers today I'm so proud of you guys I'm blessed to have all of you" my dad said hugging me, Maya, Lucas, Zay, smackle and farkle.

The bell rung which meant it was time to go home but we stayed for a little to talk to my dad we'll just get a ride from him.

"I love you guys" I said smiling "thank you all for being in my life" Maya said "Thanks for welcoming me in your circle" zay said smiling. We all are really thankful and blessed to have each other.

I wrote this chapter right before vegetarian's day on my computer just never posted it and I went back to edit it because well its not vegetarians day anymore anyway I hope you enjoyed the chapter remember you are blessed in some kind of way thank you for reading also I'll go back and fix my mistakes thanks guys bye!☺
