Ricardo, Leyva, and Lisa-Nancy walked down Main Street in downtown Los Angeles. Ricardo and Lisa were eager to stay at the Cecil Hotel, yet Ricardo had one particular reason: Leyva Erzsebet Lamia. She was a very hardened criminal and was responsible for many plane crashes at an airport called The Richard Airport in Florida. She also had done many more things like stabbing people with knives, even when she was as young as 7 years old. Nobody knew why she did it, and to everyone she seemed like a cruel psychotic person. But to Ricardo she wasn't that. And he was in love with her. Not only because she looked beautiful, but because he could see inside her. He could see there was something hurting deep down inside of her, he just didn't know what. And he wanted to help her.
This would be the only time that she would be out for parole, so this was the chance to do it. They were going to stay at the Cecil hotel for a month for summer vacation.
Lisa-Nancy Lamia was Leyva's cousin, the only one in Leyva's original family that wanted to meet her. Leyva was adopted by a man named Julian Beltrán at an early age because she ran away from her family at age 3 and burnt the house down. Nobody knew why and that remained a mystery.
This was the time to do it. Ricardo wanted to ask Leyva out to dinner at the Cecil Hotel. Everyone knew that it had a dark history, but he didn't seem to mind. He knew the mind of people like killers because of Leyva and wasn't scared of them. He only wanted to find out what made them become the way they did.
"Hi, I'm Lisa-Nancy Lamia, and I reserved rooms 1455, 414, and 1108," she said.
"Do you have an ID for everyone?" They asked.
"No. Only for myself."
"I am so sorry but we can't let you stay without an ID."
Ricardo's heart dropped. He felt tears begin to form. This was the only chance he would have with the person he truly loved and it was over. If he didn't stay at this hotel, he would never see Leyva again.
Lisa frowned and talked to the staff for what seemed like hours. Ricardo noticed that they kept looking at Leyva in a strange way. He strongly hoped that they wouldn't recognize her. He decided to start a conversation with Leyva.
"So... um... how do you feel about the hotel?" He said awkwardly. He realized that the way he phrased that question made it even more awkward.
"Fine," said Leyva with no emotion, just staring into space.
"You know that girl who drowned here right?" Ricardo had nothing better to say.
"Yeah. I'm a lot like her," said Leyva.
Ricardo just remembered that there was a video of Leyva in the Richard Airport with her doing strange things, kind of like Elisa. That was when he fell in love with her.
"Yes I can see why," he finally said. "It means you're sensitive at least in my mind." He looked her in the eye deeply, and she returned that with a strange look that he couldn't put into words. Leyva began to walk up the stairs around the hotel and went to the upstairs window. She had very red, deep, sensitive eyes, and beautiful dark hair that glowed in the light. Everyone was even more scared of her because of her eye color, but Ricardo just saw it as beauty.
Finally Lisa headed over to the two of them after she gave the staff a little lecture, basically throwing one of her tantrums.
"Come on, I finally got them to give us our rooms," she said.
Ricardo was over the moon about this and couldn't wait to see his new room: 1455. Leyva got the room 414, which people say is supposedly haunted. The whole time during the elevator ride, Leyva just stared into space again. Ricardo couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking...A/N: the reason I put the part with the ID in there is because I tried to stay there this month and they wouldn't let me because I didn't bring my passport with me which was disappointing even though I'm only 14 years old. But yeah maybe they do it for safety reasons idk haha.
But I will stay there again for Christmas hopefully and if you want to stay there just remember to bring an ID or a passport! (And I will update my other entry about the hotel once I stay there.)
