Kate’s P.O.V

After I said goodbye to the boys, I had a shower and got ready for bed. As I lay down I realised I left Rhiannon alone with the boys, but I was so caught up in what just happened I just forgot she was there. That sounds harsh but she’ll understand, she’s a big girl. I hear the front door open and close, and then footsteps quietly pad up the stairs and make their way over to the bathroom. I assume its Rhiannon, took her long enough. I hear the shower water start but then she starts singing in the shower. It might sound like nothing but she hasn’t sung anything basically since Jake, except for the first few days where she would sing one of “their” songs and then breakdown. I tried to lie very still so I could hear what she was singing:

 Wow, this is new, it’s a love song and for some reason I think it is about someone. Maybe even Harry. “Hey Kate, are you still awake?” I hear Rhiannon say as she sticks her head in at my bedroom door. “Yeah, come in” I say and she makes her way over and sits next to me on my bed. I sit up so we are facing each other. “Hey Rhi, I’m sorry I left you back there I was just so overwhelmed by the whole night and…” I start to apologize, “It’s all good, Harry walked me to the door” she says looking down but I can see a massive smile growing on her face. Oh no, this is not good. She likes him, whether she likes it or not. I love to see her happy but I haven’t seen her smile like that since last year. So in a way it’s good but I can’t see her hurt again. “That’s nice of him.” I say with a weak smile trying to convince her that I’m happy for her. “Yeah it was, but I’m off to bed” she says, hugs me and leaves for her room. This was the perfect birthday but I’m still worried about the whole Rhiannon Harry thing. I might have to explain this to him, she’ll kill me if she finds out but it’s for her own good.

*Next Morning*

I wake up and realise its Saturday! Yes! I do my regular morning phone check before getting up.

Hey Kate, I was wondering if you and Rhiannon wanted to come to a picnic lunch kinda thing with me and the boys, if you guys don’t already have plans?

Niall :)

I forgot I gave him my number, but agghhh I just got a text from NIALL HORAN. I need to keep my cool, but once I got to know him last night it’s much easier because you realise they’re actually human.

Hey, yeah that sounds great. I haven’t asked her yet but I’m sure she’ll be up for it. When and where?
