Chapter 10   What happens when you let people explain…

“Alright I’m gonna take roll, then you guys can ask any questions you want for 10 minutes then we will get changed to play ultimate football ball outside on the football field.” Caden said to the class.

He went through all the names and stopped right before mine. He glanced at me then to his paper. “Victoria Starr.”

“Here.” I said and gave every girl a look as hands shot up after my name was called.

Caden picked on Stephanie, “How old are you? Oh and are you single?” she said trying to sound all flirty.

Caden smiled, “I’m 22 and yes I’m single.”

“Liar.” I scoffed under my breath.

“What was that Ms. Starr?” he said with a smile.

“Nothing. Candice has her hand raised.”

“Candice, your question?”

“Where are you from and why did you move her.” She said trying to be as equally flirty as Stephanie, but yet she was doing a horrible job at it. Both of them were.

“I’m from Georgia, and I moved here to help my cousin who is thinking about a divorce. Plus this substituting job was open and I majored in physical education in college so it was a win; win.” He said and kept glancing at me.

“Mr. Brown can we go change; since only the school tramps want to ask you questions.” I say innocently and bat my eyes. I saw him gulp as he looked in my eyes and I couldn’t help but smirk.

“I still have questions, and as if your one to talk. Heck you got called a slut by your best friend.” Stephanie said glaring at me.

I didn’t know what to say, but she sure as heck struck a nerve. So for the first time ever I walked right over to her and slapped the holy day lights out of her.

“MS. STARR! My office now!” Caden said pointing to his office with his finger.

I took one glance at Taylor to see guilt in his eyes, and Abby was glaring at him getting ready to yell at him as soon as Caden was out of ear shot.

I turned and followed behind Caden after one last look at Stephanie. She was holding her red-hand printed cheek.

As I stepped into Caden’s office he shut the door and leaned against it.

“Was that the first time you have ever acted on your anger on school grounds.” He said crossing his arms and it showed every muscle tighten through his shirt and my mouth got all watery. Well he sure as he11 hasn’t lost any of his hotness since I seen him on Friday.

“Yeah, I was already in a pist off mood because of Taylor and then she brought it up so I just acted on my anger.” I said crossing my arms and leaning against his desk and finally looked at his eyes. They were still that gorgeous green that just made me want to stare at them for hours.
